Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam

For me he is the sport icon even if he never win anything in future years.

Novak has great personality and is great profesional at the same time. And he achieved so much despite being looked down upon since he is coming from small balkan country.

In short...go Nole, go. :)

Re: Screwed up orders

While you are denied by interface to use this specific trick, there are plenty of other tricks you could use. You are limited only by your imagination to think of as many tricks as you may need for any given situation. Besides, miss-clicked order is one of the oldest tricks in the book so it would p...

Another GS for Djokovic, good play!

But if Italy win Euro Cup finals against England they will not be too sad for Beretini.

None of them worked. Humans are building walls for thousands of years that does not work. Chance t...

Re: Djokovic took 15th grand slam

I don't know how many matches everything looked like certain defeat and then Novak somehow turned things arround and scored great wins. And all that in important maches where stakes were so high. I have no doubts he is mentaly the strongest tenis player all times. When he retire he should start play...

Re: Can someone explain communism to me

Socialism/communism is the most developed type of society humanity ever developed. Trouble is, humanity invented it too early, as how it is now humans are too flawed for that system to succeed. Long long time in the future when (if) humanity evolve comunisam would be at its prime. Since I grow up in...

John Wayne was seen at WW2 also, so that one is also fake.

Who can outperform French people in protests and revolutions? They invented it. :) Joke asside, I admire France greatly and their contribution to the development of the human society and human rights. I read many books about French revolution and enjoyed them very much. France was for decades alone ...

Re: All Diplomacy Scoring Stinks

The point is that current scoring systems and GR reward herding and risk aversion, reward wide draws and discourage attempting to solo. It is "fine" if you personally would be risk averse and herd either way, but that does not say anything about what a "good" scoring system looks like. If you want ...

Re: All Diplomacy Scoring Stinks

Over the years I played on 5-6 diplomacy sites, each having different rating system. Of all those I liked GR the best. I see rating system as a tool to evaluate player skill and a way to find good and interesting games. Rating system will not tell you that player A is better than player B. It would ...

It's still winning at an absolutely blistering 80% clip. To the average player it's probably pretty close to unstoppable.

Re: New Variant: Comments Wanted for Unconstitutional

Land areas look well designed except for the New Orleans area and some other less balanced parts, but sea zones look like they would need some additional work.

Some would disagree but I prefer maps with good naval warfare possible.
