Re: One score questions: round two gross
Never mind, I guess the origins are a bit murky but the character itself didn’t come about until later

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
Yeah, that is fair. Looking back a pass probably would have been more appropriate seeking clarification as to what constitutes “major.” I did try to give more guidance later but can see how people might feel misled by the answer and it wasn’t my intention to be sneaky in that regard.

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
Wow, I also had Arnie in mind but couldn’t find the fields I mentioned in his wiki - unless film is the visual art in question. Or I guess photography for bodybuilding. Wiki says filmmaking is a visual art (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_arts) And filmmaker is listed in the first sentence o...

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
Free guess: Arnold Schwarzenegger And this is it, congrats. As always, Hominidae will be back. I had a few moments of hesitation: is acting a visual art? According to Wikipedia, no, but filmmaking (production) is so he still counts there, just not as an actor. More famous as a politician, bodybuild...

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
Clarification question - for someone to be largely famous for politics/art/music/athletics/writing, but not primarily famous - it still means they achieved some level of renown in the first field right? Like the John Glenn situation mentioned before Yep. To be clear, I think you all have establishe...

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
I don't think this game will need a proactive clue, so I won't offer one. But, friendly reminder that questions about methodology are free of charge. There are a couple of terms that may be ambiguous that could be tripping people up, so if you have a question about a definition (including whether a ...

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
So they won an award which is both: a) Not a major award. b) The most prestigious award *in this particular field*. This implies quite a niche or obscure field. So, I didn't mean for my clarification to mislead. The question asked for awards that were both major and international. I essentially too...

Re: 20 Questions, Game 287
Does this individual have any works that are currently on display in a museum and/or have they designed a building in a major city (let's say 1 million+ population)? Assuming you mean works they created, the answer is no, or at least I am not aware of any. 1, 2, 3, 6, 11. Real Human Born after 1900...
