Re: RR Feedback & Review - have changes achieved their aims?

Using excused missed turns has minimal penalty and is recovered quickly. What you seem to be complaining about is the length of time you're penalised for Civil Disorders. Yet, those have massive impacts on the game and really should be penalized heavily. Anything less than one year is too short; it...

Re: RR Feedback & Review - have changes achieved their aims?

Thanks for the offer Jamie - but playing more games doesn't affect it at all - only time.

Happy to play you guys any time though!

A little disappointed we haven't heard anything at all from the mod/dev team to be honest.

Re: RR Feedback & Review - have changes achieved their aims?

The old RR was a pure turns/missed turns % (correct me if I am wrong) dev team. It is the length of time it stays on your record that I am questioning, but also a general interest in the delta in missed turns overall since the change. Have the mods/devs captured this at all to gauge the impact or su...

RR Feedback & Review - have changes achieved their aims?

Hey Guys First up, I want to make it clear that this is not a whinge or bitch session - but its now been over a year since the RR changes were implemented and I was wondering if you had reviewed the results to see if what you set out to achieve has actually been achieved. I'll give you my experience...

Re: Freedom!

Australians really think Australia didn't lock down soon and hard enough? Edit: That was to Wusti. Not Australia, NSW. The other states (notably run by Labor) opted for very harsh, but short and sharp lockdowns to contain any outbreaks at very low case numbers - and it worked. We mostly had our liv...

Re: Freedom!

You'll be old enough to remember thalidomide too, then. And from what I recall the whooping cough vaccine of the 70s/80s had an unfortunate reputation for neurological complications, which is why that formulation is no longer in use. These are not, and never have been, black and white issues. God d...

Re: Freedom!

I have to say this Neocon primacy of the individual over the community BS pisses me off. Those who fail to get vaccinated due to ignorance, like the world did with Polio, Smallpox etc don't need to be marked: Darwin will prevail. Banning people for voicing an opinion against them is also BS of a dif...

Re: Mini~Xu, Scooter and Dusty Balzac, Scallywags Playing Golf in No Man's Land

Don't feel bad MM. I had a few concerns when you seemed to be making your comedy awfully complicated. Never saw Billy Connelly or Oz's current favourite, Carl Barron get too complicated - their best stuff is extraordinarily ordinary, every day, every man stuff. Might not be your thing, but LCD isn't...

Can you do us a favour? Can you give a longer recovery time for order placement when you put it back up? Some games got hit by missed turns when it came back up. Cheers.

Kyoto becomes the Japanese capital, ending the Nara period, and beginning the Heian period; a Golden Age of Japanese culture begins that will endure under the domination of the Fujiwara, Minamoto, Tachibana and Taira families, until 1185.
