Wanted to post an update here.

I've emailed the Mods about making the WGL (and webDip Press League, aiming to start next weekend) official "tournaments". I haven't had a reply yet, I believe, so it's on hold for now.

Not forgotten about, though!

It might be worthwhile reaching out to the mod team to inquire about official support for the league. They may be able to help with setting up the games.

Or else just have interested players volunteer here to set up games that they will play in, as was already suggested. You can count me in the list of those interested.

Hmm, that's problematic. I don't want to be in a game simply because I create it, have to stay in it until at least one other player is in before I can leave it, and end up being there when six others join :(

Is there a way around this?
Nominate a player to create the game and tell them what the parameters are.

Easy.

Maybe ask the moderators if they'd replace you with the first player to volunteer on the appropiate forum thread, if you get stuck in a game you meant to leave. With a pause if necessary.

No, I couldn't find it. I assumed it was because it put me in the game, and I removed myself. I thought that I could no longer see it because I couldn't join it?

Hmmm. If nobody can find it, I'll try again. Must've missed something...
