Cherokee Nation delegate in the US House of Representatives

The American Indian tribe came upon a long forgotten clause while researching the 1835 Treaty of New Echota: they can appoint a delegate of their choice to the US House of Representatives. They triggered the clause in 2019, starting the process.
Congress is nearly done with the legislation to make it official. The delegate likely to become official by 2023.
