I vote for Abby, the diminutive for Abolish-the-Monarchy.
Or the Blues Band form: Downtown Abby.

I have no doubt that, all else being equal, the Royal family would be extremely keen to name one of their children after me. Sadly such names simply can't be used for potential monarchs as you risk the possibility of a head of state being known as Secondus the First, which would be ridiculous.

I feel they missed a trick by not going the Reese-Mogg/classical Roman route and just numbering them. Then we could ha e Primus, Secundus, and Tertius. Would definitely make it easier to keep track of them and maybe we'd eventually wind up with our own little prince/princess Octavius.

Let's settle the big question:

Should Britain's newest Prince be named:

● Barry

Or

● Paul

?
