Not really. I could pick some super random person from my fields of interest and stump everyone for 20 pages. Shouldn't have to do a research project to find an answer lol
Is it Chuck E. Cheese?
Famed inventor of the Chuck-E sorting algorithim
Now I have cravings for both Skee-ball and kinda lame yet somehow satisfying pizza. Ah, well.

I think you are confusing obscurity with ignorance.

Damo is a very cultured person. He does not realise that plebs like us are not educated enough to know of such historical persons.

But yeah.

For the record, if we had started with Wikipedia pages that link to Nijinsky, we could have cracked this through brute force pretty easily. Only around 570 to 580 articles link to his page.

Whew. I was so close to dismissing the guy because I couldn’t find any reference to anybody previously discussed since I completely missed the Nijinsky name drop. Seemed such a match though I ended up going through this thread I think 5 times to see what I missed.
Well done. Your turn.

Ugh, of course. An an art critic would not be a painter but still strongly associated with painters and painting.

Anyway, never heard of this guy!

That was a tough one, Damo.

Well done, team.

I don't know this guy, but I'll go with with Serge Diaghilev since he seems to tick all the boxes.

- Connected to music as founder of ballet company
- Connected to painting as an art critic and patron
- Composed as a teenager but not a composer,
- Born in Russia in 1872 and died in Paris in 1929
- Wikipedia page mentions having dated Vaslav Nijinsky, who Foxcastle previously mentioned in the thread

Gotta be, right?
Died in Venice btw, not Paris.

If we upvote this answer enough, damo will have to accept it!

Even if it's not Serge Diaghilev, I think that searching for someone with connections to Nijinsky is our best bet here.
