I thought about asking if she was fictional yesterday, but I wasn't sure if it would be necessary, since this is the first fictionao character chosen since I started following this series.

Note when I referred to one canon instance of Lois Lane having superpowers, there is an episode of the TV series "Smallville" where Lois Lane is possessed by the Goddess, Isis, and gains superpowers as a result of this, on a temporary basis.

Does she have superpowers?
Whoops. Damo asked this, and I answered it, but I didn't put it on the list or strike off a question.

So the answer is that she's a normal human with no superpowers*

*except, to my knowledge, in one instance.

Note: My answers to questions #1 and #3 are on the basis that fictional characters are not "alive" at all in our real world. They do not, with particular reference to the answer to #3, give an indication as to the time period in which this fictional character's activities are presented as taking place.
We should differentiate between two types of fictional characters. Those whose existence, albeit fictional, is embedded in the context of our conceptual world and reality, and those who come from a parallel mental space (in the meaning given by literary studies, Fauconnier inter alia) which constitutes an alternative fictional reality. An example of the first type would be Sherlock Holmes - fictional, yet 'seeded' in Victorian England, therefore, 'giv[ing] an indication as to the period in which this fictional character's activities are presented as taking place'. An example of the latter would be the reality of Herbert's Dune with its native and detached timeline.

This distinction, I dare to claim, carries significant weight in relation to the answers to #1 and #3. Both answers, even though negative, that the character is related to the true timeline of our reality. Otherwise, the questions should have been answered along the lines of irrelevance.
A fascinating discussion point, but I think that I would take the view that Sherlock Holmes is not alive, and never was alive.

Re: 20 Questions - Game 26

I was tempted to ask if she was also a character in a movie based on the comic, but I think the odds of 50% knowing a comic book character that was not in a movie are very low. So I won't ask...
