What an incredible coincidence. Ray Liotta just died.

I have never heard of "Henry Hill". I think this was a very obscure choice.
He's the main character of the movie Goodfellas, directed by Martin Scorsese. I definitely think 50+% of the users on this site have seen it. It's probably the most one of the most famous mafia movies of all time alongside The Godfather.

I also think the answer about him being involved in the entertainment industry was pretty misleading.
It was tough to answer accurately beyond "yes" or "no" because everyone was on the who is this REAL person track, rather than trying to guess who he was as a movie character.
Wow, what a sad coincidence. RIP.

Who is Henry Hill?

Beat me to it, Henry Hill was who I had in mind as well.

That was a teaser. I was not sure Henry Hill was a producer, director or actor, but I think he did have some involvement in the making of Goodfellas and may have gotten a producer's credit.

That is what led me to my alternate guess which was Joe Pistone / Donnie Brasco. But I don't think he killed anyone.

Anyway, awesome game. Thank you! I'll pick up the challenge and start a new game in a separate thread.

I'm going to go with Henry Hill, the Mafia mobster played by Ray Liotta in Goodfellas.
That's the one! Nicely done. You can take over from here if you'd like, or pass.

Scratch that. Joe Pistone, aka Donnie Brasco.

Is this person known for other criminal activities besides murder?
Yes!

Does the supposedly famous *fictional* version / portrayal of this person have a Wikipedia page dedicated to them?
No, the fictional version himself does not have his own Wikipedia page separate from the real person.

1. Not a Diplomacy player
2. Not a woman
3. Is a person that is living/has lived
4. Has killed someone/is commonly understood to have killed someone (illegally)
5. Is white
6. Does not wear job gloves. While not impossible, you would not associate them with gloves before thinking of many, many other things first
7. Not an important historical figure
8. Has been alive in the last 22 years (2000 or later)
9. American
10. Was not actually convicted of murder
11. The killing(s) they were involved in was not the main thing this person is known for.
12. They are mainly known from their involvement in the entertainment industry.
13. They have not had multiple movies made about them.
14. They were a producer, director, or actor in the film industry.
15. The killing(s) they were involved in would've happened in America.
16. They did not kill themself.
17. They are known for other criminal activities besides murder.
18. The fictional version of this person does not have a Wikipedia page dedicated to them.

(Not Charles Manson, George W. Bush, Alec Baldwin, O.J. Simpson, Tiger King, Matthew Broderick, Tony Stewart, Robert Wagner, not Frank Abagnale

Not sure what this means, but no.
Sorry for the obscure quote. This refers to Ben Schulz, also known as this guy: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mLyOj_QD4a4

On the right train of thinking, but no. I don't think Abagnale ever killed anyone

So this is a real white man involved in the movie industry...

but

It's the *fictional* character based on them that is famous...

but

That famous fictional version of this person has *not* been the subject of movies...

And

They've killed someone, and gotten away with it, but that's not a big deal.

This is puzzling.
