This is the thing with theological debates here, we are Christians from all over the world and from all the dogmas. We are talking about themes that have different interpretations within the same dogma, let alone all the dogmas of the religion.

Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, but their bodies were not like the ones we have. These bodies were given to them after they were exiled from Paradise. This is the meaning of the passage reading: And God made leather mantles for Adam and Eve and dressed them with these. (Genesis 3, 21)

We picture Jesus with the actual clothing of the time, and we do the same for the Father, yet this is inaccurate as the Father had never taken human nature. The first ecumenical synod had degreed that God the Father should not be put in form as he's not indescribable. Thus no clothing or body questions are relevant.

I'm surprised you find it so bizarre someone could believe in God and not be a Christian.
I don't find that bizarre specifically.

You do realize there are other religions outside of Christianity right? Just confirming lol.

I went down an entire rabbit hole of different denomination's opinion on God's sex and gender, and I think all the world's major religious figures, including those who don't believe in YHWH, would agree that God is a genderfluid camab intersex demi-boy.

So you think God is nonbinary?

Technically, the verse has an ambiguity- we can translate it as God having created all of Humanity in God's image- most explicitly Male & Female.

Ergo, God should have both a penis and vagina, a heavenly pair of boobs, and maybe also a heavenly flat chest.

God* created Adam in his image.
Adam was originally naked.
When Adam started wearing a fig leaf to conceal his cock and balls, God was unhappy with him.
Yet God is often depicted as wearing robes, a cloak, or a pair of dungarees.

Does God go around with his heavenly rod on display, as he intended Adam to do? Or has he become a prude in his old age?

*like the Christian one, not the other one that Fluminator worships in his garage.
