I feel like the devs are capable of making their own decisions about what to spend time working on.

The point of the forum and threads like this is for people to be able to make requests, which the devs can then use to gauge the importance of.

Honestly, does it matter at all?
If you care about stats, it does.

As with everything else, just because you don't care about it doesn't mean that it doesn't matter. You shouldn't oppose change just because you don't care.
+1...
although it might just be wasting dev time... I have no idea how complicated or not complicated that would be.
Dev time, thats the point. While the site do not have enought mods, the statistics do not matter at all.

I agree that bot games should not count (and with a different stat area, especially if you could cancel them at any time), but I still think open positions should. Most open positions are in the early game or when someone loses interest in the game (mostly when they are in a bad position).

I would also love to have an option to not show personal bot games when looking through old games. Because frankly, I don't really care about them.

That's my view for what it's worth.

I agree that these should not be counted towards statistics.

In your game stats, it says how many games you have won, lost, survived or defeated, and this counts bot games and I'm pretty sure it counts games that you joined from an open position.

Is it fair to include these on your profile if it doesn't really represent you as a player? Most games joined through an open position are usually very close to being eliminated, or have an easy draw/solo, and bots are just weird. Maybe they should be included in a different category?
