We kinda have a very limited API set up for the bots, but is pretty much unusable for the public right now because of how limited it is. Several people have requested APIs for various reasons, and may be something we add upon in the future if one of the developers has loads of free time and feels like it.

The same people who developed the bots built out a python package that you might find useful, I haven't really looked at it much, so I don't know exactly what it does, but it could overlap with what you are trying to do, so its worth a look. Is there such a thing as an application or online API for Diplomacy.
for example accepts orders as text and returns results.
Am thinking of writing a UI in python.
