Also it was not a mistake to enable global chat. It was necessary for the concept of trying to find the press player (me), and discussing it in the forum wouldn't have worked because usernames are visible on the forum.
Also please do not respond to this post in the thread.

If so, you need to change your UI to the drop down menus (the old UI) to get it to work, and then once you've joined you can change it back to the new UI.

I'm setting up an anonymous gunboat game. I have played almost exclusively press in the past (except bots).

The gimmick of this game (and the past one) is that the side goal for the players is to find out who I am. This might also be a good opportunity for other press players to try gunboat.

As the discussion to find me (and other press players) would be difficult without global chat, I have enabled global chat. Please limit your discussion to ONLY finding me and other press players.
