Not fiction, non-fiction or movies. What kinds of "published authors" are left? Playwrights? Poets? Songwriters who are not singers? How many of those, younger than 33, are famous enough to have appeared on a scripted TV show as themselves?

It's a good thought - there are some young screenwriters out there - but, no, not known for writing movies.

I will clarify one previous answer: I was looking at her IMDB page, which has just a couple of entries on it. It does look like she does have a very small handful of appearances in scripted television/shorts/etc., which I guess could be considered acting, but I think she is just appearing as herself, and in any case this is not the major source of her fame.

5,6,11,14: Born after 1990 but before 2001 in the Americas or the British/Irish Isles; is a US citizen.
7: At least one of: ever served/is serving in a governmental role, were/are involved in the arts, or was/is an athlete.
8,9,10: Not a tennis player, basketball player, professional athlete, current head of state, singer, actor, or someone who won a Grammy this year.
12,15,16: Published author, best known as a writer, but not a professional fiction writer or visual artist (though note the caveat in my original answer to 12)
13. No E in first name
