Bul/Con fleet swap
I think I know the answer, but wanted to double check with people familiar with the webDip adjudicator.
F Bul NC -> Con
F Con -> Bul SC
Is this a legal move, or a bounce?

First off, it is Bul(ec), not Bul(nc). To answer your question, no, the moves will not succeed. The only way two units can switch places is if one or both are convoyed.

Yes, you didn't know? As an example of two units switching places, in http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=200334 goldfinger switched the position of an army of his with a fleet of mine in Autumn, 1905. His convoy was the best counter to what I was doing.Claesar wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 1:42 pmSo you can make two armies switch places?..dargorygel wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 1:34 pmThat double convoy with fleets in bla and aeg is a rare and beautiful thing

I don't think that's what Claesar meant... He was wondering why I (or anyone) would want to switch two ARMIES around... And of course I wouldn't. But with allies, maybe.... AND because it looks cool.
Re: Bul/Con fleet swap
That makes sense. I provided an example, though, where you want to switch places with an enemy unit, too. If my fleet would've been an army, goldfingers move would still have been great.

To be absolutely fair, our Classic variant map is explicit in that regard branding 'SC' and 'NC'. Obviously the NC is located in the east, but is at the same time north of the South Coast. I'd say it's been chosen for consistency (STP and SPA) rather than accuracy (a quiz - point to 20 cartographic inaccuracies on the Classic map!).

"The North Coast of Bulgaria" is actually a codeword for a Russian-led invasion of Turkey...David E. Cohen wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 10:25 amReally? The map here has an incorrect coast designation?
