09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: game on i suppose
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Now that Germany's gone I'm willing to draw if the rest of you are. I want him to get the Resign on his record for ruining games.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: works for me
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: lets kill him off first though just to make sure he doesnt come back and get a part of the draw
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: I agree
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: that's fine with me as well
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: I like the Tri-Partisan Partition of Germany. :)

(Sorry, Germany...a turn late kills you...) :)
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: france and england you guys are assholes if you dont draw. the only reason your ahead is that germany didnt show up
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Everybody gang on france and england!
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: i mean i'm pretty sure we both were up for draws at the begining of the game but a few others didnt want to
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hey, I voted draw...Germany showed up to play, so game on.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Showed up late, gave you a huge advantage, and then disappeared again.

50 coins really worth that much to you?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: yeah really. that sucks
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: The theme of Diplomacy, folks:

We voted draw, but once the games on...well...
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: I even told England I wanted to draw after Germany was gone
Why reward him with a draw for ruining the game?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: all right, time to put aside all differences and kill england and france
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: playing for what, all of 1902, is not exactly showing up. theres no way to stop you guys and thats because of germany. Ride out the W or 17 split if you want, but don't kid yourselves.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: ...and didnt get the orders in. balls.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: sigh

I think I'm going to stop playing diplomacy again. NMRs every single game and people would rather waste two hours playing an unbalanced game than to just end it and try and play a fair one.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Russia, could you let me through and lets head west and up to britain and france.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: this is a bs win and you guys know it
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Russia wants to lose. He decided it was a good idea to take a center from me just now.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1905: seriously though i might be up for a fourway draw but italy and turkey...c'mon you were taken out anyway and germany didnt have much to do with it at all
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1905: the honey russia doesn't care! It's getting stung like a thousand times. It doesn't give a shit. It's just hungry. It doesn't care about being stung by bees. Nothing can stop the honey badger when it's hungry. What a crazy fuck! Look, it's eating larvae, that's disgusting.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1905: yeah, i was taken out because france didnt have to fight germany. it enabled him to advance on me wthout worrying about his borders and he got easy builds
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Why do I even try? People are too stupid to realize what they are doing
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Maybe I'll just give France all my dots uncontested so I dont have to waste another hour for the result that is unavoidable
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: do it then
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Im considering it
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Oh, come on, don't be like that...
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Why? Everyone else is trying to lose, why can't I?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I actually put effort into this game, despite it being unbalanced from the start, only to have people (not a single person) do the best they can to throw it away.

The result is pretty much set in stone right now, why shouldnt I make it quicker for all of us?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Because it's not set in stone, and that's what you do--you play on.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Case in point

Nobody cares about losing as long as they get a couple tokens, hah
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Everyone is trying to lose. And now I join them.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1909: Answer me this: if you aren't playing to win, why exactly are you playing? I really am curious.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1909: i just wanna be around when england realizes he just wasted hours of his time. im really just watching breaking bad now.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1909: We all wasted hours of time...that's the biggest reason I'm so annoyed.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1909: At least I actually tried to win, though. I don't get the pointof sitting around for three hours accepting that you are going to lose and trying absolutely nothing to stop it.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1909: i'm watching mad men...breaking bads a good choice as well
09 Aug 12 UTC w0rd england.
09 Aug 12 UTC I've been listening to Tchaikovsky, 1920s-40s Jazz/Swing music, and Beach Boys...

And something coming up in my playlist I LOVE. :D
09 Aug 12 UTC Umm...hey, england, france...hiw you feelin about a draw now?......
09 Aug 12 UTC ROFL why would France draw NOW? He's got the win locked up.

Last song!

Good game all. :)
09 Aug 12 UTC And I don't feel as badly about what would have been a stab next turn now, England.

But we played a great one to the last, and you still get a healthy share of the pot! :)
09 Aug 12 UTC Teach me your secret obi. How do you convince the entire board to just let you win?
09 Aug 12 UTC I don't think I did...

I had a good alliance with England, Germany missing a year helped--have to admit that no getting around it, but I'll still take the win--and I just talked to everyone else...

I thought it was a good game played all around...Germany was a bit hamstrung when he came back, but that's that.

I didn't plan until the very end to solo, by the way, I WAS sincere when I offered a 3-way.
09 Aug 12 UTC Right. You tell me to help you take the Southeast and you will include me in a three-way. I head southeast, and you come directly at me (and not even attempt to head to the Southeast), and lied to me two or three turns in a row.

I didn't believe you (and with good reason), but it was my only shot. I then found out that neither Turkey, Russia, or England cared if they lost; they didn't just not care, but they actively HELPED you get the win.

Just saying though, the game's over; no need to lie anymore.
09 Aug 12 UTC Anyway, I think this game's reason enough for me to take another hiatus from this site, at least for public games. It's even worse than when I left before.
