08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ok...he told me thought he saved. C'est le vie.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: welcome back!! :)
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: la vie*
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: #therussianreturnsfromthegravetocorrectfrenchgrammar
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Also well fought Turkey. The "great tomb of man" beckons.

"The golden sun,
The planets, all the infinite host of heaven,
Are shining on the sad abodes of death,
Through the still lapse of ages. All that tread
The globe are but a handful to the tribes
That slumber in its bosom.—Take the wings
Of morning, pierce the Barcan wilderness,
Or lose thyself in the continuous woods
Where rolls the Oregon, and hears no sound,
Save his own dashings,—yet the dead are there:
And millions in those solitudes, since first
The flight of years began, have laid them down
In their last sleep—the dead reign there alone.
So shalt thou rest; and what if thou withdraw
In silence from the living, and no friend
Take note of thy departure? All that breathe
Will share thy destiny.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Awesome!
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: 770 miles driving home yesterday... 3 stops. My back is killing me... I'm sure it has nothing to do w/ being 40, that would be just plain silly.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Very nice Russia. Beautiful lament.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: If your daughter is old enough to be looking at colleges, make her drive!
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: She opted for sleeping/reading for most of it. It wasn't too bad.. we were just ticked because we didn't see any moose. Maine's roadsigns specified "watch for moose on the road" and we didn't see one stinking moose.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: If you go a bit further north, they're all over New Brunswick and Cape Breton.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Mynd you, moose bites Kan be pretti nasti.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: The biggest risk is if you hit them with your car. On a full-sized moose, the car goes through the legs, and the 1500 pound body flies into the windshield. A major cause of highway fatalities in Newfoundland.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: lol... hopefully all those that kept us from seeing the moose have been sacked.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: thank you for the particularly greusome visual though my good sultan:)
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Though I had considered that as we drove... knowing how much damage hitting a deer can do, I'd envision hitting a moose would be considerably worse.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: We save the 'Moose Execution' method for our Austrian and Italian prisoners.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: It was an excerpt from Thanatopsis in case anyone starts thinking I wrote that shit. Lol.
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: The great Russian poet Vladimir Thanatopsisky?
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: No, just someone who has an affinity was the initial "Th"

;)
08 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: for the initial*
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: A great poet once said, "Th-th-th-that's all, folks!"
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Going....going...
10 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: gg Turkey!
10 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: ...gone!

Good game, everyone. Even though I got smooshed, I had fun.
10 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Good game, Turkey.
14 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Wow...it's a juggernaut. Without Turkey. Or Russia.
14 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Well... it does have a sherbert type appeal to it all:)
15 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Mm, sherbert.
15 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1908: So, who fancies a draw?
16 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1908: I wouldn't mind.
23 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well, that's it then, goodbye all. I'll see you again looking down from the podium when my team wins.
23 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Good game, Germany.
23 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: GG Germany!
24 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Sigh, my internet was down for days.
24 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Gg germany.
24 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: I am going to be severely disappointed if neither Austria nor Italy goes for the solo here.
24 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Busy weekend...so sorry if i don't ready the orders quick enough :)
28 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: That sucks. You should probably just cancel and restart once the weekend ends. :P
28 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: lol
30 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: Taking bets on which one will solo and which one will end up looking incredibly foolish.
30 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: Methinks it will not be me;)

Anyhew... I need to draw out the next two phases due to travel. I've only got two more days to traipse around NZ, including a nice visit to Hobbiton today, before I get on a seriously long ass flight back home w/ zero access.
31 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: if needed we can pause the game :)
05 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1911: RIP me.
05 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1911: Good game, France.
05 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1911: gg
05 Sep 12 UTC Autumn, 1911: good game!!
06 Sep 12 UTC Somebody please solo.
06 Sep 12 UTC sorry for disappointing you Germany, but seriously, i don't think that a solo will be possible right now. I have no fleets so i cannot progress further into the west, while Italy has not enough armies for being a real threat against me (and he needs his fleets for defending himself from an English attack)....and of course, England will help to keep the balance...i mean, if Italy continues attacking him then i will get the solo. So this is a real draw!

GG everybody!! England, Italy it was a pleasure palying with both of you!
06 Sep 12 UTC Good game all. It would have been interesting to see some AI fighting, but we both took sufficient preventative measures to make sure it never really made sense for the other to stab.
