03 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey, everyone! Let's have a great game! (and just say no to crushing your Archduke....)
03 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1901: So I can crush you? I mean your not my Archduke.
Also good luck everyone.
03 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck
03 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1901: goodluck all
04 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Please, don't crush me. Let's worry about crushing later, after we've all grabbed some neutrals. That always makes the game more interesting....
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Uh, yeah. Italy, a little help here? I smell a jugg forming, and with the board as it is, I won't be able to hold them off for too long....(Unless somebody wants to help me in another direction?)
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Russia, I advanced on you because I thought you had abandoned the field, once I saw your orders lock for the fall I switched from taking Sev. Really not interested in wasting 5 years fighting with you while everyone else expands. Budapest is yours if you want it, agree to both push West?
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Alright thanks for doing that. And it will take me a turn or two to get anywhere
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Alternatively, I'll let you have Rumania if you want to push south. I can get you there a lot quicker and you can push south a lot quicker than you could push west.
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: And I'll throw in Bulgaria if I can get Greece. We'll go from there. It's a more generous offer than you'll get from the Turkish.
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Germany sorry i missed a phase bu please allow me to get norway!
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sorry Austria...Russia and I both know that both of our home positions are so defensible, attacking each other is just a colossal waste of time, especially with his late start. Plus, with Germany snatching Sweden, he needs to focus West and North, not South.
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: I understand, but let's just put it this way, then. If you try to focus everyone on me, and I see you as the instigator, then you're coming with me. I can be spiteful that way....
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Besides, I still made Russia a much more generous offer than you did, and s/he's going to have to focus on both fronts to a certain extent. That just comes with the territory. And if help is needed in the North, AH can be a pretty good ally to have in terms of watching the southern flank of the Northern tier.
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: England has more to worry about in the North than Russia does, if I read this board correctly.
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: If by everyone, you mean myself and Russia, then that's exactly what I'm doing. You're welcome to be as spiteful as your dwindling army allows.
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Turkey, please submit your orders!
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: And I still question whether or not that deal is done. I've made a better offer, and you can spout off as much as you want, once we've relegated you to Syria....
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: So hit the ready button, already!
04 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Its a generous offer, if you ignore how difficult it is for even 2 expert players to push and wipe out Turkey. Every one of your holdings is far from impregnable. Russia getting Budapest, Vienna, and a single front war is by far more attractive then fighting a wall in the south with no easy gains, and having to continue to focus west and north.
