26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: ok thanks. if you do decide to win, at least give us the decency of wiping germany away?
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Russia: You can have Norway.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Note that he did not say 'no worries England'.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: I didn't notice that one right away, but you're absolutely right. Fucktaters, taterfucks.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: he didn't ask me... anyways, if its bothering you guys, I can pull back my units, and not take any more sc's
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: i believe you italy
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: england, I'm supporting nor-bel
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: apologies to England and Russia but I decided to go for it... wins only come once in a blue moon, so I decided to go for it.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: Ok England, they are going for a two-way.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: No shit, Sherlock!
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Let us kill germany first? at least honor that
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Russia, need help from Bohemia? Can I take Munich?
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: He thinks he can take the solo... no way
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: he can
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: I'm ok with letting Germany survive... he's fought just as hard as the rest of us...
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Italy can grow one sc at most this year, and less if we see it coming.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Germany, I'm going for the solo, the options for you now include survive instead of defeat... I assumed you'd be happy...
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: he can get two
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Russia, support Bohemia to munich?
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Yeah, I have to outguess his orders at Liverpool and Londod.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: London, even.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Italy, don't forget to colour North Africa.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Survive is defeat, i am not happy.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: italy thats really low. you are probably a player with very few points and little respect for the game
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Germany is right: Survival is defeat in a WTA game.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well, that was not the most succesfull stab in Diplomacy history.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: lol
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: no thats not a stab, thats being a loser. it happens quite frequently
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: michigan man
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: I disagree with Russia. Always search for a solo victory if one can be attained. Otherwise draw. However, if the game is reduced to an endless guessing-game, that should be close enough to a stalemate for a draw to be perceived as acceptable.
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: i agree with saying youre going for the win, then doing it. dont draw us all out for this long to not draw. At this point of the game, finish it up cleanly. no b.s. thats my opinon
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: How so Russia?
I enjoy playing to win, and saw an open in which I could possibly achieve one, so I acted on it. is that so bad?
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: it is the manner at which you are doing it
26 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: when is it ok to play for a win then? When not having advocated for a draw?
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: I may have gone for the solo too at that point, it is WTA after all. Italy was simply not strong enough.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Diplomacy is diplomacy, and that means lying when it suits you. Telling us all that he was going for the solo would indicate that we needed to form a stop-the-leader-at-all-costs coalition alliance, possibly squashing his chances at all.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: and no, lol, I am not michiganman
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: when not telling everybody you are drawing, so i stop playing (in the south) just to sneak in for the win. its not fairly earned, i could have easily defended that area, but didnt because we were told we would recieve fair draw/ survival
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: So you were fooled, Russia. Big deal. It happens.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: I disagree Russia, that is fair diplomacy.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: England, I wish you the best of luck, there is not much i can do now.
26 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1910: There is no such thing as cheating in Diplomacy. If you buy the board game version to be played live by human adjudicators, they say that any past orders are valid once the game moves on.

That rule holds even when past orders were adjudicated out of accordance with the published rulebook: anything that was acceptable enough to pass earlier is unchangeable now.
26 Mar 12 UTC I'm pleased with how things went on English soil this turn!
26 Mar 12 UTC Ok, do we have a chance?
26 Mar 12 UTC I guess it's a grey area on how the game should be played. I was introduced to it as a game of lying to and stabbing people to achieve a victory. I'm sorry if my playing style has upset you.
26 Mar 12 UTC Russia should take back one of those three, but I doubt I can take back Belgium.
26 Mar 12 UTC Good game, everyone. Especially well-played, Italy.

I was considering a CD just because the points no longer mattered in my account's future, but out of sportsmanship and a desire to build my own tactical/diplomatic skill I stayed on board. It couldn't hurt, right?
26 Mar 12 UTC Screw you Russia for missing your moves!
26 Mar 12 UTC Thanks England! and thanks for not cding, it really upsets the balance of the game.
26 Mar 12 UTC Except if Italy misses the first one.
