01 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Good Luck everyone! Hopefully we'll have a flake-free game (no drop outs NMRs)
02 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah whatever Italy- you guys suck. :(
03 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Actually, I'm not that upset. Sometimes the entire board gangs up on you when you don't present a convincing reason to work with you. :) Anyway, have all the fun guys.
03 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm rather surprised by this myself. Be assured that Turkey stands by to offer whatever humanitarian aid it can to the civilians of France if the worst occurs.
03 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Nice turn Germany
05 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well, there's only one thing for France to do now . . . SEND IN THE BASQUE!! :-D
05 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: ^like.
05 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: finalize France?
09 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1904: England, unless you're waiting for communiques, please finalize.
09 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1904: My apologies.
09 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Stop England and Germany while you can It's going to be up to Turkey, actually, if this can even possibly happen.
10 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Too late -- the Austrian is fool enough to think he's a partner of theirs and even without him, they are over the Stalemate line in a season. Congratulations -- the only fun will come if the two of them squabble......anyone feeling the urge to shoot for a solo?
10 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Ger will win this game in the end
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: So Turkey is turning on Russia. And we were led to believe that it was England and Germany who would break from each other. And they built fleets too. Guess they don't plan for a long partnership with Italy either. Hmmm...
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: What am I supposed to do? Trust in my 'good friends' England and Germany?
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: You moved in on the spoils of our war with France. They were never going to be yours Italy. I'm sorry it had to be this way, but I've never seen a Italy England Germany split.
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Heh, but "everyone knows" that an arranged 2-way with England and Germany is nearly impossible to achieve unless the players are married/brothers. So the question is which will run for the solo or who will be invited to be the 3rd....
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Don't know exactly who will get invited to the party, but it surely won't be Russia. Nothing personal. I've seen 2 way splits with nearly every combination. Besides, I like Austria's scrappiness in holding out against all odds. :)
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: For the record, the fleets I built were for defense against a desperate move by Russia across the Black Sea to take some of my territories, since you're chasing him away from his own. That's no longer necessary now that he's disbanded Black Sea.
11 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh hell, I've known I'm toast for some time. Lack of reliable partners in my area from very early on. Still curious when the great stab will come though. Of course, since we've all spoken publicly about it, it might not come at all to spite the backbenchers....
12 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: I should have attacked Germany via Tyrolia and helped France out. Hindsight, of course, is usually 20/20....
13 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Huh. Weird.
13 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: I know. It's like Picardy has the plague or something.
13 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: I know France that's rich but I really do regret being a part of the 'alliance' that attacked you
13 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Of course if things had went that way, I think Tur would have grown out of control while the alliances of E/G vs F/I would have stalemated.
13 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: As it stands now we'll see
13 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Well if there was a strong enough alliance between Germany and England against, I would have been dead even without your help. Though it was entertaining to see EVERY POSSIBLE aggressive move towards me be carried out in 1901. Don't know what I could have done to do offend- anyway, enjoy the wine. :)
14 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Don't worry France. I'm getting mine now. can't say I'm shocked or anything. It's been coming for sometime now
14 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Don't worry France. I'm getting mine now. can't say I'm shocked or anything. It's been coming for sometime now
15 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: From 4 centers to zero in one year. Yay me! Well, I'm out of my misery. So a three way draw in the works or a more interesting endgame?
15 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: yes, I can hold until you convoy, especially with Ukraine.
15 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: mt
15 Mar 12 UTC Although I am presently in the lead as far as centers, I am also surrounded on all sides and have no way (that I can see) to place myself into a stalemate position. Nor do I have any way of holding England and Germany to our agreement of a three-way draw.

Therefore, at midnight tonight my time (0500 UTC), if this game has not ended, I am going to flip a coin.

If the coin comes up heads, I shall place all of my units at the disposal of England; any unit that does not receive an order from England shall be instructed to hold. If the coin comes up tails, I shall do the same for Germany. To make it fun, I won't actually announce the winner of the flip; I'll simply carry out the orders I am given.

In any event, this will likely be my last global message, so thank you all for a fun game.
15 Mar 12 UTC You took me, Austria, and Russia out so you could do THIS?!
15 Mar 12 UTC What do you guys think, time to draw?
16 Mar 12 UTC My vote is in.
