18 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone!
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: OK, the second time in a row that I have been turkey and the Italian player drops out immediately. This really sucks.
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Happend to me last two games too. Both Allies dropped out 1901
20 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Now Germany is not making moves. Sigh.
21 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: sorry i was at work all day
23 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: This might just be the sorriest game of Diplomacy I have found myself trapped in. England now drops out and Germany makes half moves? Why, oh why are Austria and Russia so inept at killing me off? Please, someone, f-ing kill me!
23 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: As much as this game sucks, it does offer one thing I haven't had a chance to do in other games. I haven't had such a chance to be openly antagonistic in a long time. Quite refreshing.
24 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: ahaha.
24 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: anyone wanna join game called Ancient Amazing, start: 10 minutes
24 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: I am going out on a limb here - several people here don't know the actual rules of Diplomacy. No, no, I don't mean the "only lie when it is important" informal rule or anything like that. I mean, if you aren't in an SC at the end of autumn, you don't get to capture that SC (Italy), or if only one unit can attack you, you don't need to waste a support on that unit when it could be used to cover your own SC (Germany). Nothing else can explain some of the incredible moves I have seen in this game. I have an aversion to quitting games, but Jesus Christ on a stick, I don't think I can take this anymore.
03 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: alexanderthegr8 was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
03 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: huh? that's a weird message...
04 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I have played in three games with alexanderthegr8, and each of them was very weird, just as this one was. The weird thing was is that he kept abandoning games after his neighbors missed turns.
04 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'm waiting till Austria is officially gone, then we draw?
05 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Fine by me!
05 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: I was thinking that it would be fun to make an effort to go all the way till someone wins, but if you both don't want it...
05 Mar 12 UTC I certainly don't! A draw is the best I can realistically hope for at this point, which wasn't even all that realistic just 2 years ago...
05 Mar 12 UTC I prefer a draw as well.
05 Mar 12 UTC Draw it is! Thanks for the game guys. It was a pleasure playing with you.
05 Mar 12 UTC Good game. Pleasure meeting you Heldrin!
05 Mar 12 UTC Great game guys. I'd love to play again.
06 Mar 12 UTC Perhaps we will. Hopefully in one where every plays to the bitter end...
