23 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1904: I was just wondering the reason for your pause. Do you know who the global mail outburst was from? I am new to PHP and there doesn't seem anyway of knowing? Am I right. Thanks.
23 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1904: The colour of the text indicates the nation the player is playing as. So that outburst was from Italy. It would be fairly interesting to know why he has accused himself of cheating though.
23 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1904: The reasons for pause were clearly stated on his comments. By the way, I agree with him and would also add that Germany and Turkey were not fair on the arrangements we had and because of that I was knocked out of the game straight away at the beginning. These are the sort of players you take down their names and NEVER play again because this not fair game. This childish and silly and goes away from the essence of this game, which is DIPLOMACY (not betrayal).

23 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1904: Marcao: I'm sorry but I do not understand what it is that you mean by "unfair". We made an agreement to demillitarize Livonia and Prussia. You moved to Livonia which was a declaration of war on your part and as far as I'm aware it was your betrayal of our terms and not mine.
23 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1904: As for me being bad at Diplomacy I have no argument for. I do not play because I am good, but because I enjoy the game. Why this validates an attack I have no idea but perhaps it would be a good time to remember what Diplomacy is: a game. If you do not losing the game then it would be advisable to only play with people who are willing to agree to terms which allow you to win.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: William was banned (probably for having more than one account), and the game has been paused so you can find a new player to take his place if you want to.

26 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Good morning all. Just to let you know I was enjoying a beautiful winter break in the Swiss Alps when an urgent message was recieved asking me to return to Rome since an enemy was at its very doorsteps. I had to dodge and dart through various skirmishes as I descended to my homeland, and was amazed to find Italy being squeezed from all sides. I ask that all hostilities cease until I can take stock of the Italian resources. Also I would welcome any help from my distant neighbors to help turn the tide.
