28 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: It's all part of my master plan! :)
30 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1905: One of these days, I will try this unorthodox "cunning ploy" and miss 7 of out of 10 moves. Apparently, I'd be much further ahead right now.

Allow me to express my dissatisfaction one more time before my elimination...GRRRrrrrrrrrr!
30 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Do us a favor Sarge...stay in CD. Don't come back.

04 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1906: Well, as Game 4 just ended and Braveheart has heartlessly annexed my lands in this game. My time in Group D has come to an end. So I'd like to take the time to thank you guys for 5 (ok maybe this one wasn't great) but atleast 4 of some of the best games I've had on this site.
From begging Gryncat to stab various people, eliminating El Perro only out of serious pressure, failing continously to successfully collaborate with Darwyn (he did talk to me from the grave a couple times though), screwing over Zsheck numerous times before he could finally get his revenge, sharing the mutual frustration with Sarge and a long dialogue with Braveheart despite continously fighting him. It was good. Thanks guys.
04 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1906: haha it just wouldnt be worth it if i didnt get the last laugh... it was a pleasure playing with you though
04 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1906: Nice message Centurian. Good show.
04 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good game Centurian. I'll be preparing a farewell statement soon as well.
10 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: /draw
10 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: GameMaster: zscheck has voted for a draw.
Voted: zscheck Remaining: El_Perro_Artero,Darwyn,gryncat,Braveheart.
10 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: i gotta atleast try dont i?
10 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Not one of your better turns
10 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: How's that undying loyalty tasting right now, zscheck? :-)
10 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: And now the true test: Will El Perro and zscheck play for the draw, or scrap together and try to stop the purple monster? My bets? Braveheart's win is in the bag.
11 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1908: ;)
11 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1908: Will be damn close run I think!!
14 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: Gah....bad time to miss a turn El Perro.
14 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: Well I'm glad. The only thing that this game can do to change the standings is if Zsheck or El Perro win and knock me down to 5th. Braveheart has already clinched.
14 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: yeah, I am a bit upset about it, I must have been only minutes late
15 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: Actually, if Braveheart were to get knocked out of this game, we would remain tied for 1st, which would be interesting. I'm pulling for the F-A forces.
15 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: if we're tied on points then it goes to number of SCs i think.
15 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: Correct
15 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: Interesting moves! This game still has life! Braveheart, I'm fine with you taking #1, I just want to see a good fight here.
16 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1909: Yeah me too!! I took quite a few chance last turn and gamble just about paid off!!
19 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: creaking at the seams... not sure have managed to hold on this long to be honest!!
19 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: haha all of those unforeseen retreats... ya gotta love em and you gotta hate em
19 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: I knew about them.... just not much I could do about them
19 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: am not too concerned about Livonia to be honest!!
19 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1910: oh you should... i hear there's a large deposit of weapons of mass destruction there ;)
22 Feb 09 UTC Autumn, 1911: ouch!!
28 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1913: zscheck.... you've got a lot to answer for!!
28 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1913: Are you kidding? Is El Perro going to overtake me? That sly Karma.
28 Feb 09 UTC Spring, 1913: I feel kind of bad about this one with Sarge's going CD and all.
01 Mar 09 UTC Don't feel bad for taking the win. The whole balance was messed up to begin with. Russia would not have taken me so quickly if I had English help to the north early on, so this game had its own messed up dynamic.
02 Mar 09 UTC I agree the balance was messed up but one of the great things about diplomacy should be the ability to address physical handicaps by working together - that was clearly not possible for you Gyrncat as England went CD at an unfrotunate time - but that does not excuse others from taking responsibility for preventing a solo win.
02 Mar 09 UTC And nothing against you either El Perro... the opportunity presents itself you'd be crazy not to take it.
02 Mar 09 UTC so what do we do now?
02 Mar 09 UTC End of league statements anyone... on the forum? All that happens now is we wait for the rest of the leagues to finish and we're divided up according to our final league position..... new season will strart in a couple of months i reckon.

Thanks to everyone for playing have thoroughly enjoyed the intensity of the league play!!
