03 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1901: hey all, may the most devious and cunning diplomat win!
03 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome, I wish you all a nice and fun game.

In the hope that war is declared and not shown through backstabbing ^^
Russia
05 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: After this move it became clear that all diplomatic efforts and gestures failed. After occupying the Black Sea the Turks used that advantage and tried to lay their hands on Rumania as well. However the defending efforts were successful.
Nevertheless I see myself forced to declare war on Turkey with immediate effect.
05 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: A stab in August 1901! Some people have no patience.
05 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: P.S. A stab is when an erstwhile ally breaks an agreement/promise and attacks you or supports an enemy.
07 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1902: Are you referring to your convoyed attack on Rumania?
07 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1902: Read my P.S. (I can explain the long words if you find them difficult). That defines the difference between an attack and a stab. I had most carefully *not* allied with Russia, therefore my attack was *not* a stab.
07 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1902: Bah, that's just semantics!
07 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1902: What do you mean? B-)
13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Gosh, the battle for Spain looks exciting.
13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Believe me, the battle for Turkey is even more exciting. Though he does seem to be favouring a negotiated surrender to the Russians rather than being defeated by those back-stabbing, untrustworthy cads, the Austrians.
13 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Seems fair.
14 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: you do realize that you just commented on yourself right?
14 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: 3 of your actual builds for England. That's quite the recovery.
14 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: haha thanks
17 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Dear Russia,
To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab* at thee. For hates sake, I spit my last breath at thee. - Melville. (Isn't this an excellent quote for (losing) players of this game?)

*Actually, it was Austria who stabbed me, the Cad!

I'm on zero points right now and what really ticks me off is that I'll have to wait for the game to end to get any points back so I can play another game. I really wish they'd fix that.
17 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: P.S. Good game though, even if it did end to soon.
17 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Farewell :)
17 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Looks like I was utterly wrong about the excitement level in spain !
17 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Oath Breaker!

Gotta say, good stab though. Well played.
18 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Goodbye cruel world.
24 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: winderd has taken over France.
24 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1906: hi all just thought i would takeover, so whos working with who against who?
24 Jan 09 UTC Spring, 1906: I'll support you into spain if you like ;)
24 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: thanks for the support into spain austria and thanks for the help into Marseilles England. A lot of help you both were.
27 Jan 09 UTC good game all, it was a pleasure
