08 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: even if you do support rumania (which I doubt, im sure you will assure russia you will and then defend trieste) it will only hold for year.
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I think it was only one year ago that the demise of russia was your only stated goal. and now, you expect him to believe you when you feign disdain for me after just supporting my attack on him? I dont expect he will be putting much stock in your word.
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I am confused as to what set off this reaction.
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: he asked me to push towards italy and greece allowing him to survive, I tell him no, neither of you are threatening enough to warrant it, he calls me a treacherous dog.
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: italy and russia sorry
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: It does not appear that any of your predictions came true.
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: the anoying thing is, I changed my moves :) if I had left them from yesterdays I would have been victorious!
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1903: if I support hold on a territory and then move that territories army for a bounce, when it returns, is my support stil valid? ie if I had used the black sea to support sevastopol, and commanded sevastopol to moscow, only to have it bounce back due to warsaw, when the bounce occurs, would my black sea support have stopped the fleet from rumania?
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: i think the bounce dogs you.
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: It's so exciting when the clock starts counting seconds.
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: It's exciting having Sweden. Losing it in 10...9...
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: HAHAHAHA
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: F This.. I'm going nuclear.
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: any chance we could synchronise the retreats to reset the countdown near midday and have everyone on around then to do their builds as well?
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm happy with that, although Jesse won't be able to, he told me he won't be able to check the game during the day today
10 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hey guys. I have submitted my move as ready. I do not have any builds to do so no problem there.
11 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: why does vienna stay under austrian control after russia moved from it? do home supply centres revert to their natural state unless occupied?
11 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Just had job interview. When asked about productive working relationships I decided against using Diplomacy as an example.
11 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: It's whatever territories you hold at the end of the year. Look at France in spain 1901.
11 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: how did it go dude?
12 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Pretty good. They were calling my refs today.
12 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Last night I was driving from Watson to Dickson. It was late and quite cold and a lady walking on the side of the road put her arm up to request a lift. Presumably to Dickson. I wasn't in a hurry, I wasn't concerned for my safety, or anything else. Yet I drove straight past.

When did I become such an asshole?

Have I treated others this way? Have I been an asshole to the proud empire of Turkey, who wanted no more than some living space for its people. Or to Russia, who simply wanted to secure its borders against aggression. Or to Italy, whose peace losing people wanted nothing more than to let freedom reign in the Mediterranean.

I'm sorry so the lady. I'm sorry to my fellow empires of the south and east.

Can't we just be friends.
12 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: hahah anyone would think you were getting desperate!
12 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: and im rater annoyed you idnt let me know about the girl on the road, you know I like gypsys.
12 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Stephen Colbert is hinting on his show that he is going to throw his hat in the ring for the GOP south carolina caucus, Major announcement tomorrow !
12 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: he did that last time as well, but the $30k filing fee was too high for him
13 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: hahaha, this time the pollsters have been asking for his approval rating even though he isnt in the race. he is currently polling at 5%, third place is at 4% :)
13 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: admittedly the network probably wont let him, as he would be seen to be influencing the outcome. plus, filing as a joke would stop him from ever running seriously.
I mean, it is America after all, if the governator can get elected, im sure colbert could.
13 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Totally forgot to organise and put in moves! Me thinks I am gonna get pwnd!!! Arghhh! Oh well I peaked any way :)
13 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: I look forward to the death of italy, he lived and died a stooge of Austria. a patsy, a sucker. and even when betrayed, he asked simply, please sir, may I have another? May history will remember him such.

16 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh, SHIT.
19 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: thank you comrade Italy. you last valiant effort has led to another victory over the scurge that is Turkey. You will be remembered well.
19 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Unlike some people, I shall be going down with the ship.
20 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Too soon.
21 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1906: please just all use ready for retreats and builds, the change in deadline doesnt matter that much with only 10 days left to go.
23 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Turkey shall not win. I state it here.
23 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Are you kidding me Jesse Doore! Your grand alliance was always going to end in tears. As if LP wasn't going to dominate you.
23 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: so kinda similar to your russian alliance then.... just a matter of time :)
23 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: What Russian alliance? If Jesse could have stuck to his own suggestions he wouldn't be in this position.
24 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: what russian alliance! the one where england helps you into denmark and doesnt take sweden or st petersberg!
24 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Thus weakening my front against you and allowing you the easy SCs you need for the victory? I'd call it a convenient meeting of preferences.
24 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Dear Turkey, for a net gain of one unit (you would have had Tunis and not have lost Budapest) you have conceded a dominating pincer move on France's Italian territory, you have let Russia out of the stranglehold we had him in, you have removed the only troops willing and able to counter English advance into europe. And your one ally's remaining troops are now against you. You ate the marshmellow.
24 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1907: *Rumania.
24 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I could have bounced rumania with the black sea. but guessed he wouldnt make a move there, and didnt want my fleet on land for the spring if he didnt. every move has its element of guesswork.

the move on tunis was more likely to bounce than the move on greece, as I had you so fooled. with 20/20 hindsight, the tunis position would have been nice, but would also have left you with 3 troops on my doorstep this year instead of the 2 you currently have.

considering it was a choice of either denying yourself or france a troop, and france has built in brest for the impending french british faceoff coming in the next 2 days, I think it worked as well a could be expected.
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 1908: Gentlemen, just to reiterate the rules as sent out in the original email, the game concludes when the year that is ongoing on the 31st of Jan concludes. So, given that it is the 29th and it is now Spring, this will be how many territories are held after the autumn turn.
31 Jan 12 UTC Considering this will be the deciding move of the game, (as its the 31st) shall we all place our moves as 'ready' and see the final outcome?
31 Jan 12 UTC Game over, hats off to Trent dawg. Great game guys, happy to do it again whenever you like. FOR KING AND COUNTRY!!! England... out!
31 Jan 12 UTC Everybody vote draw when they log in and we are done.
