27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [India]:Haha. This was quite the read indeed.
We'll see in a few turns I suppose. I'm not that opposed to a draw but we'll see when the minor ones are gone.

@Argentina: I'm considering still taking West Australia and leaving the rest of Oz for you. It's rather close to the North East Indian which is crucial for me. I don't really consider it a stab on you since the reason I originally backed off from Oz was to ensure that he could still hold you back some longer. That went a bit wrong when he didn't put in any moves and didn't take New zealand that turn.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@ India: I understand that reasoning. I'm still planning on taking NZe this turn, but if you want to take WAu to feel more secure, I will not consider that going back on your word.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [India]:Ok. Thanks. New Zealand is holding so feel free to take it.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [South-Africa]:@Argentina, will you give 2 supports for SEA -> EAO?
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@ South-Africa: I can, but I will be moving into SEA as you vacate. I want to make you aware of it so you don't misread it as a hostile move. If you're fine with that deal, then I will support you.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [South-Africa]:@Argentina, it seems i don't have a choice. Ghana didn't offer anything to me, so i have to move like that.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@ South-Africa: My plan is to have those fleets sit there, similar to India's fleets in NWP and WPO. Take solace in the fact that if my intentions were bad, I wouldn't have told you about it and would have just taken them by force. Hopefully that demonstrates honesty.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [South-Africa]:hope so! :) but this game is about stabbing :)
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@ South-Africa: Some people are about stabbing, but the game is about diplomacy. For some of us, those two don't have to go hand-in-hand.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Quebec]:@Argentina agreed. I've found that peace often works much better than a stab, as long as you keep in mind who you are dealing with and whether they are likely to stab you.
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Quebec]:@Global so are we going to do the four-way draw? If so, I propose we halt hostilities.
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Quebec]:by four-way, I meant five-way
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Ghana]:If we are drawing, I will halt all hostilities. Also, Argentina and India, the only way you two can finih off oz next year is by working together.
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [South-Africa]:@Argentina, hope you are not going to attach SAf. Your fleets are too scary! ;)
@World, as in last years, i'm voting for the draw.
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [South-Africa]:@Ghana, re hostiles, I've lost my army because of your attack! ;)
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@South Africa: I promise, the fleets are all for my peace of mind.
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@ India: Do you want to take Victoria or should I?
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [India]:You can.
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [South-Africa]:@Argentina, we will see. I'm still can't defend on two fronts.
@Ghana, are you planning to leave Uganda and Congo?
28 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:@ India: Can you support F-Len to SEI, just in case F-Vic tries to delay the inevitable?
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [South-Africa]:@Argentina, can you please support the fleet in EAO with as many supports as possible?
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [South-Africa]:@India, will you help me in my fight against Ghana? need some pressure in Central Africa!
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [South-Africa]:@Ghana, i still don't want to go beyond Congo-Zaire-Uganda-Kenya line. but if you continue attacking me, i will have to be aggressive!
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Quebec]:@Argentina, would you mind support-holding NEA with WAO?
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Quebec]:@Global those not directly involved in conflicts should push for stability so we can close at the end of the turn when Oz and F-A are finished.
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Ghana]:South Africa, I have no plans to advance or retreat. We are drawing after the turn so it won't matter how many centers you have
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [South-Africa]:@Ghana! Ok, I see your defencive move. I won't attack you this autumn, i hope you wont' too. Great game!
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [South-Africa]:@India, can you please support the hold in Kenya?
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [India]:Yup.
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [South-Africa]:thanks, man!
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Congrats to Argentina for a well-deserved Antarctic plundering.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:One more turn left it appears
29 Jan 12 UTC [Ghana]:agreed. I have halted all hostilities until Oz gets finished off then we can draw.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:I'm entering my moves as if we're not drawing, just in case ;).
30 Jan 12 UTC [Argentina]:@ World: For a game that is set to draw in Spring 2010, there's still a lot of conflict going on...
30 Jan 12 UTC [South-Africa]:@Argentina, just vote for a draw! :)
30 Jan 12 UTC [Argentina]:If we all vote for a draw now, doesn't Oz get a share of the points? I thought we had to wait until Oz was officially eliminated?
30 Jan 12 UTC [South-Africa]:yep, i think so. let's wait for spring 2010
30 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:Yes, let's wait for Oz to be eliminated.
30 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:Note to future self: the conflict between Ghana and I was very damaging to both of us. We were entangled in a war while India and Argentina were able to consume territories. Furthermore, the Americas are not well-positioned to attack into Europe.
30 Jan 12 UTC [South-Africa]:another note: FA attack over both SA and OZ was harmful for Antarctica and actually destroyed the attacking potential of SA and OZ. So, both of us came to the finish at second tier, while FA is destroyed.
30 Jan 12 UTC [India]:Oz and FA fighting is almost always a bad case for either of them unless one of them has enough help so that the other can be easily defeaten.
And yes Quebec. Attacking Ghana was probably the most pro India move you could have done. :p
30 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:@India I did it with the idea that it was pro-India. I figured that after the attack we'd work more closely together and you'd support me against him. Instead, we launched separate attacks.
30 Jan 12 UTC [South-Africa]:still, it was really good game! )
30 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:Yes, it was.
30 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:I don't know why it even makes Oz submit retreat orders when he's been eliminated.... alas.
31 Jan 12 UTC [South-Africa]:so? draw?
31 Jan 12 UTC [India]:i suppose
31 Jan 12 UTC [Quebec]:Good game gents/ladies.
31 Jan 12 UTC [Argentina]:Good game everyone.
