07 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hello everybody,

Due to unexpected issues at my life, I am forced to quit playing webDiplomacy, starting of immediately. I have voted pause in all the games I am in, so you can find a substitute.

It have been a great time playing here, I've met a lot of wonderful people. For those of you who want to keep in touch, this is my email: elibaskin@gmail.com

Yours,

Baskineli.
07 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Best of luck to you Baskineli. I hope you'll manage the issues you find right now in your Life.
In hope we'll see you back eventually on this site,

So, everyone, what should we do? Find a replacement? Honestly, I don't think someone Will want to take Italy's position that far in the game. Ideas?
07 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: A draw is still fine with me : )
07 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm happy to not take Rome without support if it helps... we could make moves so that, even if Bask had been here, he couldn't have stopped them. I realize the idea is not perfect.
07 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Honestly I'm going to be kind of annoyed if you include Italy and Russia in the draw. :/
07 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Oh! Sorry France. I thought all 7 of us were still here : (
08 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hey Baskineli - good luck to you.

Anyway I'm down to fight this one out - there wouldn't really be a serious game disruption, because Rome and Por were both about to fall anyway.
08 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hey everyone. I'm going away tomorrow- evening for 10 days, with no access to internet, so will need a pause anyway. Perhaps we could see if anyone's interested in taking Italy's place while I'm away?

I'm voting pause now, but if you want to wait until after the phase goes through before voting, Russia, that's fine.
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: So, for those still in the game. How are we gonna manage Italy's departure? Surely we will need the mods to unpause the game since Baskinelli clearly specified he wouldn't come back to the game?
Unless someone knows someone who could replace Italy at this point? Then the mods Will need to force the CD anyway. Either way, we'll need the mods to restart this game.
Thoughts anyone?
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Perhaps everyone else should vote unpause so it's clear we're ready?

I don't think anyone will take over for Italy, nor does it matter. If Turkey is willing to be a sport, he can wait until he has support to take ROM, but Italy was pretty much doomed anyway.
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Austria/Turkey,

You guys ready to unpause?
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Turkey/England

You guys ready to draw?
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: LMAO!
Draw it'll be, but not yet! ;0p
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I wouldnt want to upset France (WOW!!!! That was the best excuse I found in AGES!)
Oh darn! I should stop thinking out loud... SHAME on me!
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: France is a bot. There is no one to upset.

What you didn't know webdip has bots.

Sorry for bursting your bubble.

55% of all "users" are automatons created by the mods.

It's w/e
20 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm back and raring to go!
20 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Glad you're back Turkey!

Austria? We're waiting for you!

Also, can someone contact a Mod to see if they could force Italy's (Baskinelli's) CD ?

Of course, with what we decided (that to take Rome, it would need to be supported)
21 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hem, anyone? I don't know how to contact a Mod. Austria also has voted unpause, so there's only Italy left. Can we force CD or unpause, please?
22 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: What?
What just happened there? Italy came back to unpause?
22 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: No, a mod unpaused it.
22 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Oh! Ok! Thanks for contacting a Mod who ever it was!!
22 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Hey guys, great to have this game going again and sorry for the delay.

I'm quite busy over the next week though so don't worry if my press is a little low on the ground.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm pretty sure AH's move to Rome is illegal by our rules...
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Yeah, but it makes no difference. You can take it form without a problem.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Well, he now threatens Naples, and looks set to get a build, so it does make a difference.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Yes, you're right. Well, not really anything we can do about it...
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Indeed... It doesn't really matter i guess.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: It's not like Austria will have a home center to build in anyway : )
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Never say never, I guess? ;0p
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Indeed England, and of course the issue would be that he'd have 1 less disband anyway. Its really the fact he seems to have somewhat violated the spirit of the agreement that annoys me though, rather than any practical consequences.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I wasn't aware of an agreement but I guess I didn't read it closely since it didn't pertain to me.

Someone want to quote the relevant statement?
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: England writes:

"Also, can someone contact a Mod to see if they could force Italy's (Baskinelli's) CD ?

Of course, with what we decided (that to take Rome, it would need to be supported)"
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: AH never agrees actually... That's an unfortunate misunderstanding.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Oh, was I not supposed to move there? My apologies, I honestly just put in my moves quickly with about an hour to go without much thought since no one was responding to me :(
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Well, I reckon Turkey only has to promise he will convoy your army to Tunis or NAf and the issue should be settled? ;0p
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Convoy to Tunis seems fair.
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: OR, in exchange, we could all agree AH can't retreat in Spain... What about that?!? *Crosses fingers*
24 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: whatever you guys agree to i guess.

i personally would just leave it, but in fairness i am not paying a lot of attention to the med.
24 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I could convoy to NA happily.

At the least though, could Austria be banned from taking Naples?
24 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I was mostly joking with my propositions, but... ;0p
02 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1908: Hey Everyone! I'm leaving for the week-end so I'll only have limited internet access where I'll be. Have a good week-end everyone!
05 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: We will miss thee, German-ee
07 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sorry all, looks like I NMR about once a year.

Thanks for the game!
07 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1909: GG Germany!!
Hope to read from you in the EoG thread!!
11 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: Let's finialise if possible
13 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1910: Hey Russia!
Is it possible to finalise please?
Sorry, it's just that I'm late and I have a two-way draw party to attend to! ;0)
13 Mar 12 UTC Haha fuck you :P

Ahh boring I was hoping at least one of you would try for the solo.

It's been so long since I've seen a solo.

I guess a 2-way is pretty remarkable. Gratz
13 Mar 12 UTC Hey!!! I wasn't trying to be rude!!! ;0)
Seriously, you really missed nothing... The party was a mess...

And about the solo, I've really only been Turkey's puppet all-game long!!! Don't blame me!!

GG all! Hope to read from you all in the EoG thread!
14 Mar 12 UTC Thanks to everyone for a worthy last game on the site.

I'd love it if you guys commented in the EoG thread I've made:
