03 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Libya]:in case anyone cares to know, I haven't talked much because I've had a sitter for the past week. Now I'm back though.
03 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Russia]:Damn.
03 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Libya]:I'm building one of those between NE atlantic and the Mediterranean so that ships can't pass
06 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Oz]:The Land Of OZ announces their new "Be Our Guest" program. During this slow season, we have several home bases not in use, and we note that there are countries who could use some excess build capacity. Even South Africa might find the weather in Victoria to be superior for ship building to the sticky conditions of Namibia. Please contact the OZ bureau of tourism for more details.
06 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Oz]:Please Note: tourist visas expire after the build period. visitors are not encouraged to immigrate and stay during the fall.
07 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Argentina]:its good to see everyone but libya attacking me right now
07 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Oz]:Libya asked to but we told him to wait his turn.
07 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Argentina]:alright well im gonna start letting russia take my territories so maybe you guys will come to your senses and go after them
09 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Argentina]:north america is yours russia
10 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [China]:Mr. Russia was sitting in his office wondering who to invade next when his telephone rang. "Oh Herro, Mr. Russia!" a heavily accented voice said. "This is China down in Beijing. I am ringing to inform you that we are officially declaring war on you!"

"Well, Mr. China," Mr. Russia replied, "This is indeed important news! Tell me, how big is your army?"

"At this moment in time," said Mr. China after a moment's calculation, "there is myself, my cousin Oz, my next door neighbor Libya, and the entire checkers team from the pub -- that makes 8!"

Mr. Russia sighed. "I must tell you, Mr. China, that I have 1 million men in my army waiting to move on my command."

"Begorra!", said Mr. China, "I'll have to ring you back!"

Sure enough, the next day Mr. China rang back. "Right Mr. Russia, the war is still on! We have managed to acquire some equipment!"

"And what equipment would that be, Mr. China?" Mr. Russia asked.

"Well, we have 2 combine harvesters, a bulldozer, and Oz's tractor from the farm."

Once more Mr. Russia sighed. "I must tell you, Mr. China, that I have 16 thousand tanks, 14 thousand armored personnel carriers, and my army has increased to 1 and a half million since we last spoke."

"Really?!" said Mr. China "I'll have to ring you back!"

Sure enough, Mr. China rang again the next day. "Right Mr. Russia, the war is still on! We have managed to get ourselves airborne! We've modified Libya's ultra-light with a couple of rifles in the cockpit and the kung-fu team from down the street has joined us as well!"

Mr. Russia was silent for a minute, then sighed. "I must tell you Mr. China that I have 10 thousand bombers, 20 thousand MiG 19 attack planes, my military complex is surrounded by laser-guided surface-to-air missile sites, and since we last spoke, my army has increased to 2 million."

"Faith and begorra!", said Mr. China, "I'll have to ring you back.

"Sure enough, Mr. China called again the next day. "Right Mr. Russia, I am sorry to tell you that we have had to call off the war."

"I'm sorry to hear that" said Mr. Russia. "Why the sudden change of heart?"

"Well," said Mr. China, "Libya, Oz, and I all had a chat, and there's no way we can feed 2 million prisoners!"
12 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Russia]:Only read this now. Lol, good one.
14 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2010: [Russia]:Btw, I'm not against a draw when SA's gone.
14 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2010: [Oz]:What about our "two way"? India Giver! (american expression)
14 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2010: [Russia]:I don't get the feeling you really took that seriously.
14 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2010: [Oz]:You know what they say about "feelings": they make an "eel" out of you and me. Or is that something else?
14 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2010: [China]:No, no, I think that's how the expression goes. Yea, I'm sure, or my name isn't Russia.
15 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Russia]:So, you don't wanna draw? Even if you can force me back, it would take many years, and the only result would be that OZ would win instead of me...
16 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Let's see: that would be the OZ that just lost 1/7th of his SC's, yes? Or is it the OZ that is the smallest of the three allies? Perhaps it is the OZ that has a blue fleet hovering above his home island. I get so confused! Which OZ is it that is going to win???
16 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Frankly, anyone who joins a World game and doesn't assume it will take decades to resolve.... is nuttier than OZ, yes?
18 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2011: [Oz]:Will the last country left to bail please turn off the lights before you leave?
18 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Russia]:Damn, messed up orders in the middle east...
18 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Russia]:Let's hope some of the others save before the deadline...
19 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2011: [China]:For real. No fun when everyone is absent. Gains in that regard are unrewarding.
19 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Libya]:my bad folks, thought I'd have internet connection where I didn't
25 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2013: [Russia]:f*Ck
25 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2013: [Oz]:It does suck. It was a legit battle until that lull. For what it is worth, I think we would have taken both Atlantic seas regardless, and that is where the battle will be decided regardless.
26 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [China]:Haha Oz only has one exclamation mark for his needed orders.
27 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Oz]:I'm an economical guy :)
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Oz]:To: our esteemed opponent, Russia
From: China, Libya, and OZ

In recognition of your accomplishments in this game, and with an eye towards wrapping this up now rather than in three months, we are in agreement draw amongst we four if you are so inclined.

We will liquidate the two small countries this turn, allowing a draw after the fall.
We recommend that hostilities continue for the spring and fall turns just to avoid any concerns that this is a trojan horse.

Would you be interested in concluding in a four way draw?
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Oz]:China: I am convoying an army to North America this spring. Please move Quebec out of the landing zone. I recommend a full but uncoordinated attack in the Middle East/Med. Libya; please support-hold NEA and prepare the scuba lessons for your troops in England. Please also consider clearing out Maur for my NEA fleet should something unexpected happen and it need to retreat.

I will liquidate Bai and Moz by fall. Can you send Angola north and I wll send Arabian south.
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Russia]:I certainly am interested, and gladly take the offer :) This world war has been going on for many years now, and my peasants desperately need peace!
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Oz]:Very good. Fight for another turn while we liquidate the smaller powers, and then we'll draw. If we take both locations this turn and the armies disband, and we draw before fall turn, what happens?
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Russia]:Then SA would still share in the draw. Even with 0 SC and 0 units he'd still live until after the fall. Argentina wouldn't get anything, because he's in CD.
28 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Oz]:Ok, then we'll fight through the fall (probably not too seriously, but not a bad idea to defend in case one of us is a lyer) and then after disbands, call the draw. China, you can vote draw now if you want and I'll hold off till after fall...or whatever...

Thanks for info, Russia.
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [China]:Mmmm... delicious world peace. Naturally, Im down with that. After all, its not about points, its about having fun.

But I was about to give anyways. Its exactly like I said earlier, we're running out of room to put prisoners!
29 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Libya]:army in Gbr relocating to Atlantis, we've got prisons there to fill ;)
29 Jan 12 UTC [Russia]:Cool, I'm in central pacific.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]:Come visit OZ, it's all the rage.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]:I'm planning an Alaskan cruise myself.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Russia]:Don't forget your coat, it's freezing over there.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]::)
29 Jan 12 UTC [China]:Aw, Come on Oz! I know Im behind on my payments on Indonesia but just give me a few more days! I've got the money, I swear! Haha
29 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]:Darn, meant to post this in public:

Libya, you deserve a trip. Are your Moroccan troops interested in seeing America?
China will arrange for Quebec and Ontario to welcome your troops to Union if you will book passage via NEA shipping lines. Support for NEA from Algeria would be appreciated.

And belated Merry Christmas, Russia. Hostilities only for one more turn.
29 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]:Hmmm. Thanks for the idea, China.

I can't believe I left myself so out of position. I was supposed to be able to snatch 10!
What was I thinking! And how did China ever get to 22 and Libya to 17! What an IDIOT I am!
29 Jan 12 UTC [China]:Haha Oz, I knew I should crushed you years ago! I would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for your damn regime change!

Funny story though, I asked Arg. to help me crush the old Oz way back and he was like nah. And then Oz crushed him. Yay irony!
29 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]:lol Yah irony!
30 Jan 12 UTC [Libya]:good game everyone!
30 Jan 12 UTC [China]:Indeed. It has been an honor playing with you gentlemen! I enjoyed it thoroughly.
30 Jan 12 UTC [Oz]:Damn! How did Russia figure out that we were going to Union? Someone must have told him! I'm playing with a bunch of traitors. Screw the draw, I'm fighting on!

Great game, everyone.
30 Jan 12 UTC [Russia]:GG everyone. You all played really well ;)
