24 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: It's just Christmas Eve here, but yes, time to celebrate. :-)
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Are we all ready to resume this game?? And... happy New Year to all.
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Game on! Thanks for the long pause, everyone. I had a nice relaxing vacation in which I used the internets maybe twice.
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Wow! You have more than one Internet?? I'm envious!!!
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Everyone please send me a reminder of any agreements I have made. Memory isn't what it, uhh, whatever.
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Heh. It's just an old G.W. Bushism that I enjoy tossing around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKTH6f1JfX8
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: As to reminders: You had agreed to build a fleet in Naples and send it west!
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Ahhh.
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: So.
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hmmm.
07 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: ;-)
15 Jan 12 UTC German authorities report possible new European borders drawn up that will ensure lasting peace. English, Russian expats chagrined, and nobody quite knows about Syria.
15 Jan 12 UTC Conflicting reports from Ankara suggest that a lasting peace may not yet be feasible.
15 Jan 12 UTC But then, not much comes out of Ankara anyway ;)
15 Jan 12 UTC hehehe. Did they smuggle it out on camelskin vellum? ;-)
15 Jan 12 UTC JUST kidding, Turk my friend. Buddy. Pal. :-)
16 Jan 12 UTC And no, France, "vellum" is NOT a dirty word. X)
16 Jan 12 UTC Seriously. You all would draw with 5 still in? I thought this was a GR challenge, not a wuss challenge. But, after this turn I will concede the draw. Unless you are Darwyn.
16 Jan 12 UTC Yeah, I would, because I don't see the game going anywhere, I think either me, Austria or Germany making any progress would result in the other 2 ganging up to stop a solo, and you or Italy attacking the 3 of us would give an opening for a solo. And since this is a GR challenge I think everyone is smart enough to not allow a solo.
16 Jan 12 UTC I think there is still game in this. Brinksmanship.
16 Jan 12 UTC I'm voting draw because I don't want anyone to get the idea that they can run me over to make one less player to share with. Oh wait, is this global?? ;-)
16 Jan 12 UTC Hit Ready and let's move on. If there is a stalemate then I'll vote draw. I'm not trying to be a prick just want to see how this turn works out.
16 Jan 12 UTC Wait I just realized that Turkey called us all wusses. What's THAT about???
16 Jan 12 UTC I'm moving Tyrrhenian to Ionian, dude, to come find out what's going on over there.
16 Jan 12 UTC I'll twiddle my thumbs in Scandinavia while F/A eliminate I and T before the draw, if you guys want. Just sayin'.
16 Jan 12 UTC But my analysis pretty much runs similar to France's. I don't mind playing it out further, though.
16 Jan 12 UTC Just sayin' isn't it YOU who will lose 2 SCs? Just sayin'
16 Jan 12 UTC Only if I guess wrong.
16 Jan 12 UTC I absolutely refuse to support Turkish or Austrian attacks on each other and want this game to end before the two of you pull us all down with your excess of testosterone and disregard for collateral damage. So call me a wuss if you must but let's end this game before somebody gets hurt. Like me!
16 Jan 12 UTC I refuse to attack Austria. So there you have it. Let's see who is telling the truth.
16 Jan 12 UTC lol. Not you, for sure. But I do admire your great sense of humor.
16 Jan 12 UTC I think I've seen more press this season than the rest of the game combined.
16 Jan 12 UTC As I previously said, I can't possibly head north to attack Germany as I believe Turkey and Italy will mop up behind me. I cant kill turkey or Italy without help. There is no help available so I'm kind of stuck!

Germany and France appear fluid on thier border, but I can't see Germany getting to 18. France cant afford any units to head south, to change direction. Italy has such a poor relationship with me that he daren't turn his back either and as I see it Turkey is stuck in the corner, with only Italy who isnt willing to kill him. Unless Germany or Austria attack each other which I think we have both agreed not to, the game is a draw.
16 Jan 12 UTC We may have to watch Turkey take his last swing at you then.
16 Jan 12 UTC I'm holding. Ask Kitty Carlisle.
16 Jan 12 UTC @ Turkey. Remember my promise to all that if I got attacked and started to lose in the south I would throw centres to Germany. I have a good pedigree of shotgun Diplomacy and am not scared to lose a game to proove my point.
16 Jan 12 UTC Alrighty Al, fire up the chainsaw. I juggle them for breakfast. Just ask Bud Collyer. He knows my true identity.
16 Jan 12 UTC Just under 4 hours until ..
16 Jan 12 UTC Okay, took the draw flag down for now. I wouldn't be happy with all this suspense unless I saw what happened next. With how Turkey has played, it'd be just like him to build it up and then draw 1 minute before the turn flips.
16 Jan 12 UTC I knew you wouldn't pull the trigger. GG France. As far as waiting until one minute before, if you all had hit ready a while ago we would have seen.
17 Jan 12 UTC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7GJcKuVGm8
17 Jan 12 UTC Waiting on Germany.
17 Jan 12 UTC So tell them what you told me.
17 Jan 12 UTC (Just not the personal stuff about my blue eyes, plush lips, and all that.)
17 Jan 12 UTC I believe I told everyone publicly that I was supporting the paranoid Austria in place. If not, I just did. Kitty, Bud, and anyone else.
17 Jan 12 UTC Ok *Whew* lol
17 Jan 12 UTC Okay, less than 5 minutes to go. Time to draw. ;-)
Good game, everyone.
17 Jan 12 UTC Wuss. I did Support Austria.
17 Jan 12 UTC We'll never know.
17 Jan 12 UTC Good game, guys, even if my own plans for global domination never got off the ground!
