21 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1902: hi
21 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1902: hi england.
23 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'm new to the diplomacy game, so can please kill me too quick, let me figure out how to play this game!^.^
23 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: For some reason my moves did not go through, and I had several!
24 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: hey can somebody tell me can land attack sea?
24 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: no it cannot.
24 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: unless the land unit is a fleet within the land zone.
24 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: thanks!
25 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: trip has taken over France.
27 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1903: welcome aboard trip.
23 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ladies and gentlemen, here's a promise from me to Germany. If I don't give him Denmark back after he had helped me to defeat the France, everybody has the right to attack me and claim my lands.
23 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ladies and gentlemen, here's a promise from me to you all. If you make an alliance with England, you will end up fighting with him (just as I am) because he is only interested in helping himself.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: And I promise that if he doesn't help me, I'll attack him and place few defenses against the France so Germany will never benifits if he helps France.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: If you kept your promises, we wouldn't be in this situation
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: ...and man up and deal with me directly instead of blathering your nonsense on the global.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: 12:17 PM If you kept your promises, we wouldn't be in this situation (I don't understand when I had not kept my promises. In fact, I saw France had not kept his promises in this game for two times: 1. We had first agreed that I can hold Belgium for a little bit longer so the attack on Germany would be easier for us, but France suddenly told me that he wanted Bel quick and if I don't give Bel to him he'll attack me. For the name of peace between us I gave him Bel. 2. His sudden attack on Wales.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: And I have no reasons for not keeping my reasons. See, there's going to be a winner in the war between Austria and Turkey. Me and France's original plan is to finish up Germany quick and then face either Turkey and Austria later on. Although France had stupidly attacked me and gave Turkey and Austria advantages to win, I can still unite with Germany to attack France and then face Austria or Turkey. I won't be so stupid backstab Germany after we have succeeded in getting France and make the war longer, finally letting the winner between the Austria-Turker war win the game.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: So at last, the mystery: who is the backstabber, France or me, at all? Just try not to waste your brains and think.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: no offense, man, but this IS diplomacy after all. alliances are made and broken with brutal stabs all the time. my personal understanding is an alliance is kept as long as it is forced. if you leave the back door open then youre going to get robbed.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Had you not built that fleet in Lvp, our previous issues could have been worked out. Once you did that I had no choice but to attack. Did you honestly think I was going to let you move freely around my flank? Is that what you consider friendly behavior towards an ally?
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Concerning Belg. I would have been forced to disband had I not taken it. You wanted me to wait until you had Swe, Den, Hol and Kiel before handing it over. Thats not working evenly, which is all that I was asking you to do. I offered you a way to move the army you had there to Norw, but you didn't do that. Instead you moved him to Hol and then got upset when I moved on Belg with support. You then told me that you were going to use that as an excuse to attack me and built a fleet in Lvp. So uh, yeah, I attack you.
25 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: This is my last global comment concerning this matter.
Carry on if you must.
26 Jan 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Wise moves, France! I didn't expect that.
