07 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Brazil]:*Gasp* The purity of Australia's naval forces has been ruined! That army should be exiled to the Philippines, where he can think long and hard about what he has done.
08 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:What are you talking about stranded? You could ship that unit to Peru, Colombia, Central America, Mexico, Monterrey, Japan, Alaska or whatever that place on the end of Russia is called.Of course, that involves a fortunate lack of anyone stopping such movements, but it looks like that is quite possible for you.
08 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Brazil]:It is called Kamchatka! Haven't you played Risk? :P
08 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Oz]:Well, sure, it's not *completely* stranded, but getting it off of the continent will require the turn of at least one other unit. I'm not a bit fan of convoys when they aren't strictly necessary...
08 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [South-Africa]:You can use it to die NTe grey!
10 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:Convoys are useful! They bring an inland unit in when you're assaulting a coast, which is quite useful, or they offer an option of action for a fleet on the water that cannot be stopped save by taking out the fleet (requires two fleets) or by moving against the area where the army is being convoyed to. Convoys should really take priority to any other moves during an invasion, except maybe taking a supply centre, but even that is entirely situational.
13 Jan 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [China]:Top nine! Can I do top eight!?
17 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Quebec]:Well, that was stupid of me.
18 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Oz]:Damn shame about my first (Accidental) army. Ah, well. He'll be replaced quickly enough.
18 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2009: [Brazil]:That's the attitude to have about your troops! ;)
27 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2010: [Oz]:Apologies for holding up the game, folks. Completely slipped my mind with the computer troubles.
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Brazil]:Citizens of the world,

The United Nations of Quebec, Brazil, South Africa, and Oz hereby proclaim ourselves to be the sole legitimate world government. All other governing bodies are henceforth declared to be null and void.

All provinces formerly ruled by now illegitimate governing bodies are considered to be in a state of anarchy. The United Nations will be sending forth peacekeeping forces to restore order within all such provinces.

Any resistance will be neutralized.
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:I always knew you were full of yourself. :P
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:That having been said, Russia refuses to recognize the legitimacy of the so-called 'United Nations'. Russia is willing to make peace with the arrogant usurpers, though.
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:Russia is just about dead and doomed.

Argentina, on the other hand, has a secret weapon to survive! OZ! Give me a home in your lands and take me under your protection! I can drive over to your house and give you cookies!
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Brazil]:Are they eeeeeeevil cookies? We only except evil cookies.
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:I might be able to make them eeeeeeevil cookies if Oz wants...
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Oz]:We Aussies, as the Evil Overlords we are, have plenty of cookies already, thank you very much! We are, in fact, quite insulted at your attempt at bribery! Once India falls to our might, you'll be next!
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:It's accept, you Brazilian half-wit! ACCEPT! D8< BEGONE, FOUL DESPOILER OF THAT SILLY ENGLISH LANGUAGE!
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:But these are /homemade/ cookies! And free! That makes them better.

Maybe a pie? I can do some chocolate pie. It'd be delicious!
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Brazil]:You forget, my dear Russian anarchist, that England is Brazilian territory! We can decide for ourselves the specifics of our own language.
13 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:The sovereign republic of Russia is not in anarchy, despite what the tyrants of the false 'United Nations' will have you believe!

Join us! We have cupcakes.
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 2013: [Quebec]:Seems like that whole bit is too little, too late at this point. I'm starting to see where it would be useful earlier in the game, though. At least, that is, with a board this big.
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 2013: [Argentina]:Looooorne, hide meeeeee. ;~;
16 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:Hide you? Uh, Quebec /is/ part of the New UN, eh. I wouldn't be hiding you, I'd be surrounding you.
16 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:Surround me in a protective fashion so that I might survive the predations of your allies!
16 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:Or rather, so you can't escape them.
16 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:I told you that you weren't going to escape this, Ferret.
16 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:Aww... Loooorne, you're meeeeean. ;~;
16 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Brazil]:Fellow UN members, if we ready up, we can probably complete the game within a few days.
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [China]:It'll take longer than that to conquer Oz in a 3 Vs 1
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:China is sowing dissent? :P
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:He thinks his tongue is forged from pure silver. (It's actually aluminum. You got ripped off, guy!)
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [China]:Nah, merely wishful thinking. One of my aggressors survived. It's pretty obvious to all that I wouldn't have any inside information.
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:Russia would like to make it known that it invites the 'United Nations' to come and get her, for Russia is tired of fighting and wishes for a swift and merciful end to this conflict.
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:Also, I'm somewhat amused that it took four empires to completely conquer all the territory I managed to unite. :P
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:The fact that four empires /did/ it doesn't necessarily indicate that it would take that many to destroy it. Any two of them could've easily taken you out, though just 1 may have had some trouble. Then again, it's generally a bit easier for defenders than attackers after the "surprise round"...
18 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Brazil]:A mere eleven provinces now remain outside the control of the United Nations. I hope that 2014 shall see the remainder of the globe united under one government.
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:More like a confederation of governments, but I'm being too analytical. XP
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:So, does that mean you're going to try to /actually/ take ever single province, including the non-supply-centers?
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Brazil]:That's mostly up to my allies. I can't really reach any such provinces.
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:You're the only person in position to take Alb inside of a year...
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:Or Lorne could just convoy that army in St Petersburg to Northwest Territories and THEN take Alberta.
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:Unless it doesn't work that way.
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Russia]:Actually, he could just convoy his army in Quebec to Northwest Territories via Hudson Bay and then take Alberta the next turn...
19 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Argentina]:Oh, yeah, I suppose he could.
20 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 2014: [Brazil]:Yeah, Quebec could very easily seize Alberta if he so chose.
22 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Argentina]:I made the game last an extra year! Yaaaay.
23 Feb 12 UTC [Brazil]:Oh, whoops. I guess we forgot to give out our full name before the election.

We're the United Nations... of Evil!
23 Feb 12 UTC [Russia]:United Nations of Derp, yes. You guys are too silly to be evil.
