25 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: While I am happy to be out of the center of the map, these rotations suck. Braveheart, not much improvement for you, and Darwyn and Sarge locked in the east again.

With two France and two Russia draw, Sarge has got to be the placement winner thus far.
25 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: wow - that was quick... didn't think this game would start so soon. With league and GFDT i have far too many games going on right now!!

Still to try my hand at a Western nation in the league, but I genuinely don't see drawing a centre nation as being that bad, especially if you enjoy diplomacy!! They just have more volatile outcomes.... higher loss and higher win ratios.
25 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: Bah...Turkey again! I was hoping for a little more variety...oh well.
25 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: Quick question...can anyone confirm whether this is a seven or a five game league?
25 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: yeah variety!
26 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: Happy to be 'placement winner', gryncat, but it certainly hasn't suited me well. I have to start playing some seriously good diplomacy if I don't want to be stuck in the cellar! I wish everyone luck in this game, especially my compadres in sameness - Darwyn and Perro Artero - playing the same powers as in Game 3!

Also, I'm pretty sure that we are playing five games.
26 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1901: yep- this is 2nd last round.... time to start jostling for league position ;)
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: I emailed TheGhostmaker and he has confirmed that it is indeed 5 games
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Excellent...thanks!
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: just want to get this complaint out of my system, but I've played twice as Germany and twice as Austria and I'm sick of it
27 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Complaint noted, and sympathies given.
03 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: The Sultan would like to make an announcement:

Viva la France! Long live the King of England!
07 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: Just a reminder, TheGhostmaker has asked everyone to make the same moves as before to avoid problems. I wouldn't have a problem if the people who missed got to move though.
07 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: Tough call. These went through then? I logged on last about 20 hours ago, so I suppose so. I would also ask that everyone make the same moves, especially considering that this is a league game, and we are all honorable players.
08 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: Not sure what is going on guys.... did I miss a turn? didn't see what happened before the rollback.
12 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sorry fellas...I thought I had moves entered, but it says I'm CD. Still here! =D

although, not for long.... :(
16 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1906: NNNNNOOOOOO00000000ooooooooooo...........
-for dramatic effect-

Good game everyone...see you in game 5!
16 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1906: NNNNNOOOOOOOO
-my bad
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1906: i think you probably got away with that.
19 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1907: fairwell cruel world!
