25 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: otherwise whats to stop him switching if it doesnt go well
25 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: The rules?
25 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: lol yeah
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: austria has just attacked italy without italy declaring which side their on
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: Being as it is not an aggressive move toward Italy (as a move to Ven would have been) I believe it is aloud
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: actually we said any move into any italien territory was not allowed
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: Russia is correct. But clearly it wasn't meant to be an attack (as you could have taken venice). As far as I'm concerned you can just move back to Tyrolia and all will be well.
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: the rules made it sound like only SC areas
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: it did say any areas
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: I specifically said "Colored areas" to avoid confusion.
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: Whats the problem? Just move back. The position in piedmont doesn't even help.
26 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: the confusion has come up then i guess... I would galdly move it into Mars to right the wrong
27 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: no good - no traveling through neutral countries - and at the moment Italy is a nuetral country. Moving back to Tyrollia, or Italy declaring is the only way to right the wrong
27 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well it does seem like due cause for a declaration of war. However, I have offered Austria passage back to his home. I think thats perfectly reasonable.
27 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: ummm... have we reached an agreement?
27 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: if austria moves back to tyr then i suppose its an honest mistake, though i do think there should be a penalty for it,like hes not allowed to move any other of his units
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: Well you would think that Russia
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: well of course, but there has to be some penalty it was clearly stated what the rule was
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: The only thing I'm annoyed at is the lack of response. Do
i need to defend myself?
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: it is a bit shit
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: god forbid I actually DID something over the break
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: god does forbid that actually - now how are you going to rectify the situation?
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: i'm retreating out of Pie
28 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1903: Wow, last minute
05 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: Italy declares war on the Triple Alliance (Germany, Austria and Turkey) and declares allegiance with the Triple Entente (England, France and Russia)
05 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: NICE!!! Welcome aboard!!
06 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: Germany, in a last ditch effort, went after his own teammate's SC - No wonder the Central Powers lost WWI
13 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1906: Sorry, I was away yesterday.
16 Dec 08 UTC Spring, 1907: In a normal game we would be a pretty disfunctional alliance
16 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1907: If this was a normal game Italy would die this turn :(
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1907: Trim!!! Don't abandon us now!!!!
17 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1907: why would i abandon us
22 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1908: Central powers are screwed :)
22 Dec 08 UTC Autumn, 1908: sorry.
03 Jan 09 UTC When we started this game, it was to play the alliances out of WW1. It's clear who the victors are now and it's simply a matter of going through the motions to eliminate Turkey. The pot was small deliberately so that no one would be tempted to break the spirit of the game. I think it's very cool that no one did. I also think it's very cool that Turkey stuck it out this long and didn't simply roll over once he knew the inevitable outcome.

You've been a great sport Turkey and played a great game, and if everyone else is still willing, I would like you to be in on the draw for this game

03 Jan 09 UTC Agreed.
03 Jan 09 UTC Thanks everyone. Also, nice convoy last turn. Edi to Syria using every fleet in the ocean spaces, brilliant.
03 Jan 09 UTC haha - yeah, we worked a long time to get that route - thought it would be useful to get France's backed up forces around to you, but then I got those other 2 builds and decided to extend the long convoy just for fun.
03 Jan 09 UTC You should have done St Pete to Syria though, longest convoy possible and you have got enough fleets, it would only have taken 1 year extra to get into position too.
