31 Aug 11 UTC | Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:Welcome, a very good game to all of you! |
06 Sep 11 UTC | Autumn, 2001: GameMaster: Commander Cody was banned: Multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player. Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily! |
21 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2004: [South-Africa]:Hello to all, I wanted to start the day with a quick, fun and completely neutral fact: Libya and Russia are in 55% (15/27) of eachother's games. Remember I am just stating a number and I am not making any concusions based on this figure. Please correct it if its wrong. Have a nice day everybody! |
21 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2004: [Libya]:That's because we know each other. Check for IP if you want... |
21 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2004: [Europe]:Libya and Russia are well known meta alliance. I reported them to mods, but no steps were taken, nor did I get any explanation. I don't know what is going on, but it clear that's not fair. I guess the only thing we can do is to avoid games with those guys and anon games. Or just take it easy and let them have fun. To be honest I am watching these guys for a while, and it seems, after a month of braking basic fair play rules, they still think it is fun to win basing on meta alliance (and presumably, instant messaging outside of Diplomacy - check their performance in some anon, non-messages games). It is astonishing me every time I see them playing, but what can I do when admins don't care? It's just a game, right? It is a shame that some guys just don't understand it's not fun when you win without equal circumstances at the beginning, but still it's just a game. |
21 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2004: [Libya]:Someone here's a bad loser. |
22 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2004: [Europe]:Well, I would agree - here are 2 bad loseres from Holland, but I guess this is not what you mean. Still I am astonished you find it fun, to play the way you do. |
22 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2004: [South-Africa]:Another fun statistic: Brazil is also in about 50% of their games. |
25 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2005: [Russia]:Hello All, I have taken over the Russian players position. After i joined, i have read the global chat. I can understand Russia's postion is good because of a bad reason. So i hope people dont mind me taking over that position. I hope there are still some people who want to cooperate with the great mother Russia now there is another player onboard. |
25 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2005: [USA]:i vote cancel the game :P |
25 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2005: [Western-Canada]:USA...why? |
26 Sep 11 UTC | Spring, 2005: [Russia]:i think we have to wait now for 24 hours because libya and india seems to have lost there interest |
19 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 2010: [Russia]:To be clear for all, i did not stab WC the moment i took Scandinavia. I demanded it back the moment we agreed on an alliance. I agreed to wait to take it back that turn because he has no options to compensate. The fact he thought he would keep it forever was his fault! |
19 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 2010: [Russia]:so he stabbed me last turn. |
20 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 2010: [China]:Sounds like you like to stab people, Russia. |
20 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 2010: [Russia]:your the only one i stabbed. And the way you react makes me not regretting :) |
23 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 2011: [China]:The way I reacted? All I said is I'm not going to help you because you stabbed me. You're the one who keeps messaging me. |
23 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 2011: [Russia]:well, just refusing to work with someone because he stabbed you once is not a very healty tactic. So i just tried to tell you that. |
24 Oct 11 UTC | Spring, 2011: [China]:Why would I choose to work with someone who already stabbed me over someone who hasn't stabbed me? |
25 Oct 11 UTC | Autumn, 2011: [Russia]:because that would be better from a strategical viewpoint? |
