16 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck to all of the players from the King.
16 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1901: And good luck to the newbie too, whoever you are.
16 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck from Mustafa Kemal and the Turkish nationalist uprising!!!
17 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah, who is the new guy?
20 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1903: everyone ready up please
28 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hi I have taken over Russia, Austria has missed a phase and I will ally any and everyone who wishes to start attacking Austria.
28 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: count me in
28 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sounds good Germany. You can keep St pete because frankly I don't need it right now and it looks like you are having a hard time against England, who is the strongest player and might win because he has nobody to fight except you. If necessary I will even hold you in st pete.
As soon as possible please bring an army near vienna so I can support you into it.
28 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: Also I am willing to play for the draw once France is eliminated.
28 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: that is also good with me!!
30 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: everyone ready up please
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: why is everyone so keen on drawing?
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: cuz this game has gone haywire
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: i vote draw!
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: agreed
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: well im sure somalia votes draw as well as bosnia and taiwan but the hegemons rule the world :)
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Italy, you are the main power preventing a draw; you are allied to Austria and England, the two powers who refuse to draw. Just pointing that out.

I am obviously in favor of a draw, but I know that Austria will want to eliminate turkey first and England is very close to eliminating france and Germany....I have a hope to survive, but it is not a very big hope.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: wow you douchebag! You come in here propose a draw and take extra money and run?
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I have played diplomacy for over 12 years and have played on multiple sites and in hundreds of games. I have never been in a game where there has been this much disrespect and brutality! I am dissapointed in my fellow diplomacy players and have always believed that this was a great place but know i am second guessing myself. I have never left a game before but feel the need to end this game before this goes too far!
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I have tried very hard to get a draw going.....it hasn't worked. Austria and England won't vote for it.

What.....what did you expect of me Turkey? To join the game and then lose??? I don't understand.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I only joined this game because I thought I had a decent chance of lasting longer than some of the other players and getting a draw.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I have shown disrespect to nobody and, to be fair, nobody has shown it to me.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Is it disrepectful for me to pick up a country in civil disorder and try to play for a draw that was better than what I started with?? I don't understand.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: No Russia it is not. Thank you for stepping in, the game is meant for 7 players.

Now if you had been the same player coming and going on a whim I would have a different view.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: No, I'm a different player; you can see my bet is only 44 points.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Im confused Germany what has been so brutal about this game?
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I have suffered some bad beats but I have only seen one instance where a player was truly out to ruin the experience for everybody and I wasn't in the game just read the global chat.
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: The private messages and moves have shown continous disrespect and venegance
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Vengeance is a strategy, how is that disrespect? If someone attacks you and you attack them back in retaliation, that's a reasonable way to play the game.

Are you implying it's respectful to just roll over and die when stabbed and not to seek retaliation / revenge?

06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: *pardon the double message
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I think vengeance was the wrong word.....
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: What happened earlier that was so bad?
06 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: yes it probally was the wrong word sorry
14 Sep 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: looks like a stalemate to me. draw?
16 Sep 11 UTC Spring, 1910: Are we gonna draw after this year?
16 Sep 11 UTC Spring, 1910: I wouldn't mind playing on for a bit, if you don't mind. One thing though if you want to hurry the gsme along, can you press ready (green tick) rather than hold (black tick). Thank you
