Spring, 4: I wonder how long this pause will take.... |
07 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: not sure if voting to unpause will help, given that it was an automated pause when they moved the server. |
08 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: I think we could vote for it all we want, but they're going to unpause it when they feel like it. Hopefully, we don't all forgot that we were playing |
08 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: forget, even |
08 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: Actually, you may be right. There *is* an unpause button. |
08 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: yes, tested in another game. everyone has to vote for unpause. |
10 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: Ned...did you get a response from the mod? This sucks. |
10 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: He said he would email Carthage to get him to log back in. If that doesn't work we can see what the next step is. |
11 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: I emailed the mod again. It now says "1 day left on unpause" at the top. I'm hoping that means pause will come off at the end of the day. |
11 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: He unpaused it right after I sent that last message. Game on. |
12 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: thinking about dropping this game and starting anew...with Greece and Carthage out, it's kind of a blown match. |
12 Aug 11 UTC |
Spring, 4: Yes fair enough. I'll vote for a draw. |
14 Aug 11 UTC |
Autumn, 4: I was hoping to keep playing after the mod got us restarted. Greece was already dead. |
16 Aug 11 UTC |
Autumn, 5: Ned...you should choose draw at this point. the game is kind of over given that Rome and Carthage dropped earlier. we can start a new one with some of your buddies if you want. |
16 Aug 11 UTC |
Autumn, 5: The winner takes it all, Steve. No stopping it now. I will be down for a new game. |
16 Aug 11 UTC |
Autumn, 5: dude...you turned on me right when Rome and I decided to draw. Plus Rome was evenly matched with you, so cutting into his turf when he dropped out if just wrong. #Ethics101. |
16 Aug 11 UTC |
Autumn, 5: I was planning to attack both you and Rome anyway--you're the only two neighboring me now. I'm not sure why everyone left, but I never agreed to stop playing. I went to the mods to get the game back up again. |
17 Aug 11 UTC |
Autumn, 5: just saying...your victory will be hollow at this point. the game got screwed up when the WebDiplomacy server was transferred, and unfortunately everyone left. Without a semblance of a real game, it's not worth further pursuing. I know you went through efforts to get this back up and running, but if it's only the 2 of us it's no longer interesting (unless we had rightfully beaten the rest of the competition, which didn't happen). |
