06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: This is a conversation between me and Italy last turn:

BEGIN
01:25 PM England:
Hi. This game is boring since France passed way.
So, to finish it quickly I propose you support Hel->Kiel, and I left England for you with no resistance:
Edinburg -> Norwegian Sea.
London -> North Sea.
Clyde hold.
What do you think?

05:52 PM Italy:
i say that's a deal. enough to end the game too
END

Why not saying "NO" instead of "DEAL"?
We all know that Italy is going to win this game soon or later, either with or without resistance.
Daniel was wrong, you guys are not mean, you are something else.

I´m not complaining because it was three against me. I´m complaining because I only wanted a minimum of fair play from Italy.
Fair play in Diplomacy? In this situatons, yes.
06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: Playing devil's advocate, you're still going to end up with more centers than Germany
06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: This is not the point. I´m probably still going to end up with more than I started, and I´m glad for it.
The point is I would happily take a "NO".
In witch case we woul have this scenario:
Germany would still end up with 2 SCs.
I would still end up with 4 SCs.
Austria would still have the same.
Italy would still win the game.
06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: and did i follow through? you will observe i did not
06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: and neither did you. so why are you pissed again?
06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: He's got you there, England
06 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1911: I did order EXACTLY what I proposed. For instance:

"The army at Clyde hold."
"The fleet at Edinburgh move to Norwegian Sea."
"The fleet at London move to North Sea."
"The fleet at Heligoland Bight move to Kiel."

Everybody can check the orders.
Could you be more specific Italy?
06 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1912: Perhaps Italy was honouring an ally that stood beside it throughout the game?
:)
06 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1912: It would still honour if he had said "NO" instead of "DEAL"
06 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1912: england, you said you were gonna "get out of england" that implies to not go crashing head on into me.
and besides, it's diplomacy. nothing is personal. then it becomes life (philosphical quote of the day)
