10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: It seems communication is at a standstill in Europe.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: What do you mean?
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: I've been in other games where people talk with each other a bit and hold a conversation. This thing was just blank, so I decided to add something.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: So is everybody here truly beginners? This will technically be my fourth game, 3 in progress, 4 if you count one I just joined that was CD'ed.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: depends what your definition of beginner is
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: I've only played like once outside of this site and this is my second game so...probably yes
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm just asking how long have people been playing I mean.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: I've played real life diplomacy a few times before, but only phpdiplomacy
a short time (and I'm useless). The problem is that phpdiplomacy
seems to have much less talking, as you state...
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: That just depends on the people you're with it seems.

I got into this game when a message board on a website I go to asked if anybody wanted to play. We talked to each other between moves.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Game is boring when 2 players not play... :(
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yeah, it's going to take a while to, seeing as it's going to wait for them for at least two rounds.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: Are we hoping to move faster than every 24 hours then? And what's the procedure for retreats and dislodgements? Is there a seprate phase for that and is it really another 24 hours? Cause that would get intense.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: (Obviously, this is my first game online, but I have played once before face to face with others...)
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: We move faster if we all do our moves faster, but alas, many people
do not do this! We do have to allow time for talking, obviously. Sadly
retreats are a 24-hour process also.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: It adjucates (performs moves) either when the 24 hours is up or if everybody finalizes.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: What is with game??? "You have no orders to enter this phase." ?
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: This is the retreat phase. You don't have to issue orders in the retreat phase because you weren't attacked.
10 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: ok, thanks
11 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: papa ciulla has taken over England.
13 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: So, how was everyone's weekend?
13 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: I know AUTiger and I are upset with the weekend's SEC football results...
13 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1902: Yah not too pretty...there were some great NFL games though
15 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1903: My guess is that Germany has gone civil disorder...
16 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: Stupid Germany. Just go civil disorder already so the rest of us can play...
17 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Ursa has taken over Germany.
17 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hey, new Germany!
17 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hi!
18 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1904: Goodbye, new Germany!
18 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1904: :) Why goodbye ?
18 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1904: I suspect he quit.
18 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1904: Why?
18 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1904: You just hadn't logged in for quite a while...
18 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1904: I know. I was playing Diplomacy today - with five friends :D was kinda fun but took quite a while. We quit with A5, T8, R3, E8 and G8, with the later having a firm alliance against Austria-Turkey. It was funny to make Austria into an ally while he had only three SCs left (Napels, Rome, Vienna). As Turkey, I could have eaten him whole but I needed an ally with all other players against me.
20 Oct 08 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm finished! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
24 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: jormungandr has taken over England.
31 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1908: GameMaster: belowme has taken over England.
31 Oct 08 UTC Spring, 1908: Wow. Dude, no offense, but are you stupid? Look at the country you just bought.
02 Nov 08 UTC Autumn, 1908: France, England, and Germany are about to miss their turn.
03 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1909: He is not stupid. He is coward.
Russin coward.
Have bigest army and do that?

Is no possible that somebody "belowme" start game only for help Russia and this game. (Becouse english army go for London only for I not take London on 1 turn by 1 army).
I think that Russia not playing clear and bilt secund player. Is any GameMaster who can do something with this?
03 Nov 08 UTC Spring, 1909: You can think what you want, but I did nothing of the sort. You just got outplayed. Deal with it.
