01 Jun 11 UTC Spring, 1901: For beginners:

for basic rules.

is excellent for strategy.
01 Jun 11 UTC Spring, 1901: 2 days/phase this time around?
01 Jun 11 UTC Spring, 1901: A slower, gentler pace allowing for more discussion and (hopefully) less missed moves.
05 Jun 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Wow, this shit is bananas in the best way. I love this game already.
07 Jun 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Also let me explain the difference between Sav(e)ing your orders and Ready(ing); a save will just hold on to your orders, but if everyone declare that they are ready the next phase will begin immediately. This is nice for retreats or builds, since it keeps the flow going. In other words, Ready your orders instead of just saving them, especially during builds/retreats.
15 Jun 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Dear Diary:

Today was a good day. I see heavy fighting between the big 3 in the west, a quick and violent end to my enemies in the south, and a giant splotch of purple reaching into the center of the map. My only complaint is that ze German was smart enough to notice the balance of power shifting dramatically in my favor, but I hope the West's petty squabbles keep them busy long enough for me to grind out the rest of the Balkans and clinch the win.
