27 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1901: hello everyone. good luck!
27 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1901: lol

I've been playing Gunboats and totally forgot that this game had press :)
27 Apr 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Have fun!
05 May 11 UTC Spring, 1904: I thought the system was supposed to disband Italy's unit in Ionian. Isn't the algorithm supposed to pick the territory name that appears first alphabetically?
05 May 11 UTC Spring, 1904: it's distance from home centers i think. the alphabet might be a tiebreaker
16 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: It looks like France and England have worked out a 17-17 draw. I have absolutely no interest in playing a game in that situation.

I will ally with whichever one attacks the other first, France or England. Otherwise, I am just going to start ceding territories to France to let him get to 18 first.
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: same
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: lol whoa easy man, just cause you backstabbed me, i was willing to help you
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: i really only meant the ceding territories part. if england wanted to win he would have already stabbed you, there's basically zero chance he'll do it now.
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: no my bad germany, that was meant for turkey
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: I'm not upset at you at all, France. That was a very, very well played round (and a well played game up to this point). You have done an amazing job at this game in aligning England with you and I congratulate you on a well earned win.

I just think that it is futile at this point to attempt to stay in the game when it is obvious that you and England won't be fighting each other and when my ally has been dealt a death blow.... so I am going to attempt to end it in a way that doesn't result in me having to sit here and input moves season-after-season.

There are no hard feelings... I just know how this plays out. I hope I get the chance to play you again. You did an excellent job.
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: And, yes.... I did attempt to walk both sides of the street last turn. You did a great job in catching that. Your instincts served you well. Like I said, you deserve the win. Excellent playing.
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: so game over? all i'm looking for is a survive here
17 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: pretty much so... unless England stabs France or France stabs England, that is. It isn't worth playing the game until that happens because otherwise it's either a footrace to 18 (which France will win) or it is a 17:17.
18 May 11 UTC Spring, 1907: can you give up, england? it's WTA, you won't earn anything
19 May 11 UTC Spring, 1907: U guys sure do bitch alot.
20 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: i guess you don't want to solo victory france? i was going to give it to you. have fun splitting with england, i'm cding
21 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Thank you for a fun game, Austria. You were a worthy adversary
21 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: bleh.
21 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: If Italy hadn't gone and CD'd I would be saying the same to you.
21 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: turkey ready your builds
25 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: lol everyone is "allies" with everyone and trying to backstab people. I say we just draw, this will take forever
25 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: I can do that
26 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: hey so if you guys are just going to keep attacking everyone just tell me so i can not do my moves anymore
26 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: That's not fair.... I haven't attacked England or Germany once.
28 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1910: turkey if you want the solo, just lemme know, Ill move out of all my sc's.
28 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1910: Funny... I told you the same thing a few rounds ago.... right before you stabbed England. I won't be stabbing Russia though. He wouldn't roll over for me like England did for you... and that would give you the runway you needed to regain the momentum and win a footrace to 18.

I still see some stalemate lines, so I don't see a solo... but I also don't see any reason to split the pot with too many people unnecessarily. There is still room for one more in the Russo-German-Turkish alliance.... membership just requires a real effort to eliminate an adversary....
29 May 11 UTC Autumn, 1910: I would if i didnt have to worry about being attacked on another front
02 Jun 11 UTC Turkey, everyone is voting draw now....
02 Jun 11 UTC I don't want to split the pot 5 ways.
02 Jun 11 UTC ohhh ok yea just finish us off then and you and russia and germany can split it
02 Jun 11 UTC Fun game, everyone. Thx.
02 Jun 11 UTC Not bad for my first game here.
02 Jun 11 UTC Thanks, see you next time.
