04 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Haha, no problem. =)
04 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Wait am I really Russia again?
04 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Surprise...?
05 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Did everyone get the email about BGZ wanting to quit? It said we should pause the game and wait for a replacement.
05 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: I emailed the mods about forcing the pause, I dont' know if they've received it yet...
05 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: (abgemacht): Hello all, this game has been paused to comply with league rules. If this is in error, please email us.
05 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: It's not. Much obliged, abgemacht.
08 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi guys, i'll unpause the game once i've had a chance to talk a bit with everyone.
08 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Welcome to the game. I guess we should all vote unpause now.
09 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: Great! Nice to hear from all of you. I'm ready to go!
09 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1901: allright, just waiting on Turkey to unpause!
14 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1903: What the hell. I did not build that. -___-

This is what I get for rushing my orders.
15 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm resigning this league after this match. Good luck.
15 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1903: :l
15 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1903: Why?
16 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: getting bored of some ppl
16 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: Really zemaniac? That's the reason? I'm sorry dude but that's a terrible reason. You signed up for a league with 4 games. Dropping out mid-way because you're "bored of some ppl" is pretty lame. Suck it up and stick it out. Nobody likes a quitter.
16 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: As terrible as effective. This is a game, and if you don't like some of the ppl playing then you have the right to quit.
Be polite and respectful and don't bother me.
16 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: You're not being respectful. Quitting a league (in which others depend on your participation) because "You got bored with people" is ridiculous.
17 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: See ya guys.

Unlike zemaniac I won't quit, but I'm basically out of the league, and I'm done with this game. Have fun.

Getting screwed over by an ally just in my time of need two games in a row makes me not want to play anymore.
17 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: How the fuck. Ugh.
17 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: This is what I get for spending a day with the girlfriend. I'm such an idiot. -___-
17 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm thinking of the regularity of this league. If I quit, someone better than me can join and all of you can enjoy the remaining game.

If I stay in, my neighbours just eat the pie and get stronger than other players.

If you guys want me in, I stay. If you don't I leave.
18 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1904: I'd prefer you stay, personally. I know it hasn't been the most successful run thus far, but I personally really do appreciate your staying with the games. It's hard to find replacements -- I had to replace someone in C1 and play that league concurrent to this one, to give you an idea.
18 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1904: Ok then, I'll stay.
21 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Apparently it's going to be another 3-way. how droll.
21 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Austria has a chance for a solo, but I don't know if he will be willing to take it. I guess he would have to look at the total points and determine if a guaranteed 4 points is better then a change at 12 points. (If he does win then he is automatically to the next round).
22 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Which is mostly why I don't understand why you and England feel the need to zerg rush France, and leave Austria to feast and go for the solo.
22 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well, duh. If drano rushes out to a lead in the tournament we gang up on him and crush him in games 3-4.
22 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: So he wouldn't solo... riiiiight...?
22 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: oi! why's everyone worried about me soloing! I still need 7 more SCs, and even if I take Ankara, Naples, Rome, and Tunis, I'm still 3 short! Where will I get them?? Warsaw and Moscow *could* fall, but what about #18? St. pete is defended by Barents, and I'd have to take Munich somehow which would be nearly impossible since Germany is getting 1 build now, and probably more next year!
23 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: When I looked at it further I came to the same conclusion.
23 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Oh, I guess that too. lol.

I just assumed drano would wait to jump out to a lead until the third game.
23 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sometimes you think there is no chance for a solo but then it still happens. Three way draws are pretty precarious. (just ask Eden! :P)
23 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: 3-way draws are a lot more stable then 2 way draws. The times that I got my solos usually started out with me in an alliance, and I was just a little bigger then the other player when the others were eliminated.
23 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: This is horrible. lol. I pretty much had no chance this entire game. The 3-way is an inevitability, and France messed up me even being competitive.

Thanks France, you jerk!
23 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Ouch, Frank. GG.
23 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1905: I definitely don't think the three way is inevitable. Sorry know I'm out but throwing in my opinion.
23 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1905: Heh, it's fine for you to comment, Zack.
23 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1905: Of course it is. But the three-way happened last game, and with Eden being a storng player, I very much doubt a 2-way.
23 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1905: Well, thing is. I own a considerable portion of the classic English minimal stalemate position (home centers + Por/MAO + Den + Stp) -- if I were to destroy Germany's fleet and find a way to hold Kiel and Berlin then I couldn't be eliminated. So an AG two-way is extremely unlikely (Germany would basically have to strike out now to have a shot). And any two-way involving England is basically impossible because whichever of AG would be included in the draw would actually probably win outright. There's just too many centers for either of them to claim. A 3-way is far more stable.
24 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh I just think Austira has a very good chance to win the game outright. He can take the Turkish and Italian scs fairly easily which puts him at 15 Scs which puts him just three away from an outright. At that point he could probably take Warsaw or Munich because Germany seems to be fairly spread out. Also, there's a strong chance he could slip into some French Scs. it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. If Austria doesn't win it will be a three way draw though.
26 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: Have fun
29 Mar 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: good game: i got whupped!
29 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1907: Does anyone else feel like game 3 should have started by now? Or has the league gone on unofficial pause between games for some reason?
29 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1907: before we start, we should confirm that everyone is going to play....lots of nmr's and guys threatening to quit in this game. but yeah im excited for game 3!
30 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm...not.

I'll play it obviously, but I have mostly stopped logging into webdip, except for maybe once a day.
30 Mar 11 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm here. I dunno what happened with the league -- gjdip went on an unannounced sabbatical for a while but is back now, so hopefully R3 starts up soon.
31 Mar 11 UTC Well, with Austria voting Draw I guess that's that. Neither Germany nor I can solo from here.
31 Mar 11 UTC nor can I. I could have taken Warsaw/Moscow probably if I had bothered to actually enter orders for my armies last turn. I could also have taken Silesia eventually, but with a German fleet in Kiel and an army in Berlin as well as 2 German armies in Ruhr/Bur, it's impossible for me to take Munich. Combine that with 2 English fleets defending MAO, a fleet helping protect Spain, and an English army in GAS supporting Marseilles, the south is locked off. And Barents SH St. Pete, means I'm stopped.
