10 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1: Hello everyone, wish we have fun ! By the way, where is Switzerland? In its absence... is it Vind, which becomes unpassable? |
21 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 4: xcad (Rome) is driving me crazy. He babbles everyday worse than a woman off her meds. I'm outta here! |
22 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 5: well, thats one way to win ... talk 'em to death! |
22 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 5: I may answer that after the end of the game. |
22 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 5: I used to be a great player till I began to talk to him... :( |
22 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 5: In the meantime, I promise I will shut up for a while (to those who do not want to hear me) |
23 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 5: GG Stagger and Scipio |
25 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 6: Given the lack of stamina of our "Bull" colleague, I am advancing a bit that babbling answer I promised: Dear Bull, Now I start to understand your records (65 % defeats, not a single win in 17 games): It is not only that you do not like talking (123 messages only in 17 games!), moreover, when things get tough, you miss turns ! I see that you have pressed the "draw" button (without a word, of course). Then you do not move. George, seeing that, falls on you (I would do the same). Given this situation, Egypt will be 15 already and I have no way to stop him alone, so I AM ALSO PROPOSING A DRAW. In a normal game, if Egypt did not accept the draw, Persia and Rome would automatically ally to fight the opponent being about to draw, till forcing him for that draw. But I do not know if any of this is of your interest. I mean, do you value the difference between "surviving" and "drawing"? If you do, in case Egypt refused the draw, we have a hell of work to do from now on to stop him. (Tyre-Sidon-Antioch-Damascus-Cyprus and he is done) I you do not, you can just drop me a small message (I expect something like "fuck you off" or so) In the only case you choosed that last option, let me just say that I suggest you trying to play "Risk": You will also get a sense of "tactic game" with way less headaches and no need to talk anyone, sure "Risk" suits you better. Yours, |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 7: Hi there Bull, (Seeing you programed moves for this autumn'07 turn) I hope you use Cilician to move either to Antioch or Sidon. This would give a 50 % chances to refrain Egypt to make both of them, so 50 % of chances that the game lasts one more year, delaying Egypt victory. But the fact is, I am expecting anything except you do that... |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 7: Again: Do you want to try we go for the draw (therefore, fighting coordinately Egypt) or NOT? |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 7: (right after autumn '07 moves) SPARTA !!!! So Egypts stays at 17 not 18 yet, we have game... |
28 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 7: so, ejem ejem, (cleaning my throat for a bit of extra-time babbling) OPEN MESSAGE TO PERSIA I see that you went Cappadocia at least, so I presume some willingness from you to stop Egypt. The good thing is, if I get to keep Sparta and you keep Sinope, Byzantinum and Miletus, Egypt cannot win. And we can very well do that, together. Proposal for a plan: Rome will not attack ANY of Persia's current positions (Sinope, Byzantinum, Miletus). Instead, will help Persia keep them. (Support hold or move to Sinope from Chersonesus, cleaning out AEG egypt's fleet, etc...) To do so, now you should NOT be disbanding units at Byzantinum, Miletus, and then one of Bithynia or Cappadocia (I think it is quite the same, up to you...) If we do so, Egypt is stopped and he can only loose positions. He has only 7 fleet, while WE have 10 (armies are quite stablemated...) OPEN MESSAGE TO EGYPT In case Persia gave a positive answer to that (perhaps not talking but just making the right disbands for making so), then, I think it will be quite the time for you TO AGREE IN A DRAW. Please think over, we may not be in such a good scoring as you are now for a draw later on |
30 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 8: (So, Persia is missing again, and we have arbitrary disbands... What a silly game...) |
31 Jan 11 UTC | So, game finished! Congratulations George for your win!!!! Congratulations to the winner, my regards and respect to those who were eliminating when deserving a better fate, and who played till the last movement of his last unit, shame on those who resign and leave the game when things get though for them. A final advice to Bull199: Go play RISK. Really, you will enjoy that much more. |
