12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: Well. Interesting. Who wants Moscow?
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: Do you?
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: And if I leave Livonia, there is no hope for Moscow or Warsaw...
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: You have neough fleets in the area to get it back, it will take a few turns for anyone else to get an army in there as they'd have to go through Russia.
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: I'm not likely to just hold for the rest of the game. I'll either regain power, or die trying. Alas, such is life.
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: Turkey still survives as vagabonds in the barren wasteland of Syria.
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: Iidhaegn - I'll support your hold in Moscow.
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: "Prussia (moved in form Livonia) cancels Silesia." yes, but Silesia-Berlin sacrifices that doomed support to cancel Berlin. Now it's 3 v 3 and all are solid. Except, of course, moving Silesia leaves it unsupportable and open to attack from Berlin+Prussia.
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: And so getting even a seventeenth centre remains truly in the balance. An eighteenth is a wild fancy.
12 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: I am going to support Moscow's hold once again. An alliance in terms of sentiment may be formed between myself and Italy.
13 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: So it's everyone versus Austria. :-) Fun fun fun.
13 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: aw, bummer
13 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1914: I wouldn't be against you, Austria, but you're pretty much the only person who I can make an impact against. :-( (No I'm not going to attack Warsaw *eyeshift*)
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Livonia is supporting Moscow to Warsaw
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Iidhaegn, don't do that in the Spring. Ghost is poised to take Moscow with armies in St. Pete and Liv.

Also, sorry, Perro, me building an army in Rome was clearly an error. I don't want your fleet in Venice to feel threatened. If you want to use Tyr to hold in Ven again, I would understand your trepedation, but I assure you, I'm not using Rome to attack you in Ven. I don't want to divert Tyrolia's attention away from holding Munich. Last turn, France would have taken Munich and disbanded your army if he had moved Ber -> Mun with support from Ruhr and Bur. That's dangerous. So, take caution and don't worry about Ven.
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Italy, that isn't particularly convincing really, is it?
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: lol France. How can you tell him he's not convincing after your Mos-War support claim?
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Well, at least I've offered the support from Prussia to Warsaw, and haven't just attacked the guy I'm reassuring...
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Moscow-Warsaw makes Moscow unsupportable, so you can guarantee taking it. If he just holds, Sevastopol might offer him support to stop you.
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: I do. Iidhaegn, Sev will support your hold in Moscow.
13 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: I have offered the support too I shall play both moves.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Ok, I shall no longer be making the Support move with Livonia as it seems that Russia will probably not be making use of it.
14 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1915: Yeah, I wouldn't support me. I mean, unless you guys gang up on me (or if France just takes me) I'm not going anywhere. Plus, I can't really get out of here. :-)
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: And yet everyone supports me. Woo! :-)
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: Well, except for evil Austria.
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: Supporting Prussia - Warsaw
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: Ah, many thanks indeed.
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: I suggest austria go to bulgaria with rumania and then just sweep turkey. =)
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: OK, Iidhaegn - If you support Ghost into Warsaw, then the game is practically over. He could easily convoy another army over to Livonia by next fall, or move an army into Kiel and take Munich. Please don't support France.
14 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: Alright, I won't support France. *wink wink nudge nudge*
15 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: Sorry, Russia, my predictions were all wrong: I expected Italy to break the Support, and Austria to play completely differently.

Would you please play the same once again?
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: sure! or even better, why don't I just post my moves so that you can adapt!
16 Aug 08 UTC Autumn, 1915: Would really appreciate that. :-)
16 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: Austria, I don't think there is too much need for that, although it would be helpful.
16 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: There isn't much need for that because France will win by next winter...
16 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: Russia, can I just double check the you will indeed play Moscow S move from Prussia to Warsaw?
16 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: Naturally that's my plan.
17 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: Army The army at Bulgaria support move to Paris from Silesia .
Army The army at Warsaw move to Edinburgh .
Army The army at Trieste move to London .
Army The army at Munich support move to London from Trieste.
Army The army at Bohemia move to America.
Army The army at Silesia move to Paris .
Army The army at Serbia support hold at Mexico.
Fleet The fleet at Venice support move to Beijing from MichaelPhelps.
17 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: There you go; those are my orders, exactly, cut and pasted
17 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: Why did you let me win like that?

Russia, it was a nice try to get yourself back into a position where you could actually partake in a draw, but Austria and Italy, why did you attack once another like that?
17 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: *one another
17 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: ask the Italian fool! He's the one that initiated it! twice I might add
17 Aug 08 UTC Spring, 1916: France: the faster you won, the fewer SCs Austria would lose to Italy.
17 Aug 08 UTC What I still don't understand is why they didn't just force a draw when they could of... As soon as they started attacking each other/Russia France had won.
17 Aug 08 UTC Yep. Italy had to pick between a draw or being greedy. He chose greed, but it worked out the same for him anyway. Ah well, it was an epic game. I certainly enjoyed my moves while I lasted, hopefully having built a reputation for myself as a difficult Turkey to capture (con-bul swap, haha).
17 Aug 08 UTC Turkey, can I thank you for buying me so much time :D
17 Aug 08 UTC I was determined to make the traitors pay. But regardless, you played an excellent game - congratulations.
17 Aug 08 UTC And make us pay you did. I think we all made pretty lasting impressions, whether for better or for worse... well... It was fun, guys. Congratz France on the win.
18 Aug 08 UTC Yes. I made a lasting impression indeed. =)
18 Aug 08 UTC Who wants a draw? Nobody likes a draw. Draws are last resorts.

Either way, an excellent game everyone! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Many of you are good players, and I hope to play games with you again. Please don't hold my dislike of draws against me... So long!
