02 Oct 22 UTC VERY dumb Rome
02 Oct 22 UTC Maybe the worst play I’ve ever seen on this site
02 Oct 22 UTC Well good game to you too Carthage.
G G all .
02 Oct 22 UTC Maybe that was harsh, but if you put half the effort into defending against the person obviously trying to solo as you did trying to attack me (when I did nothing but support hold from Autumn 9 onwards) maybe Persia doesn’t solo. Just a thought. Even your last set of moves where I was trying to get my army to the front to help you out and instead you just gave up all your centers to Persia - nonsensical.
03 Oct 22 UTC I am pretty sure I would have prevailed eventually - Greece had a really bad opening which gave me a really big head start. Excellent play by a struggling Egypt who held me at bay for almost the entire game. Rome's move at the end is a reminder that you need to move where you want to go every turn - you have no idea when your opponent is going to pull a bonehead move or go NMR - Carthage, I am glad you were kept at bay by the others; you are an experience player and if our borders touched, I am afraid I would not have fared so well. Thank you everyone for a fun game
03 Oct 22 UTC The Pyramids have fallen.
