12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: hello everybody!

Have a nice game!
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: thanks!
my first game online, let's see how this goes!

cheers!
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: My first as well! Have fun, folks!
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Just curious, once orders are submitted, are they final? Or can they be amended at a later time?
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: you try and tell me? :o)
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: you try and tell me? :o)
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Just had a try. Apparently I can save them, and then make myself ready/not ready.
I can still change my orders.
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Even if you make your orders "Ready", you can still go "Not Ready" if you want to edit your orders.

It's just that if everyone puts their orders to "Ready", the game automatically advances to the next turn instead of waiting for time to run out. So if you're absolutely certain your orders won't change, and you just want to get to the next turn ASAP, put your orders as "Ready". Otherwise, just select "save"
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Thanks for the tips.
Just being curious when it's easiest to contact you guys. Where is everyone located? I'm interested in time zones :)

I'm in Gatineau/Ottawa, Canada. "GMT-5"
cheers!

12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: So, if time runs out and your orders are "saved" they will still be executed, correct?

By the way, can we talk about the inherent advantage Austria gets? Red text? I mean, come on.. That's just scary lookin'.
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm GMT-5 at the moment, too..
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Yes, so long as your orders are "saved" they'll be executed. "Ready" just means that we'll progress to the next phase as soon as everyone selects "Ready".

I'm GMT over here, btw.
12 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Make sure you watch for your private chat also! I'm GMT-8 out in California.
13 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1901: Once you have your moves all figured out be sure to hit "Ready" because it speeds the game up a lot. You really only want to hit "Save" if you're waiting for a message from someone.
13 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm GMT-5.
18 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Is it me, or I've never seen so many grey "checks"?
Usually they were all green :)
23 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: hate to do this, but i'm headed away for the holiday and won't have internet access. i request a pause, if we don't draw. after tomorrow morning i won't be online until saturday.
23 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: ok for me
23 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1905: sure
23 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Where am I gonna get my dip fix now?
see you guys Saturday.
27 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Let's do this!!!
28 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Turkey appears to be back.
Everyone ready?
28 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: yep, let's unpause this thing.
29 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: only england is missing...
30 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Think he's gone for good?
01 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: i do.
01 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: aaah
01 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: What's the procedure if he doesnt come back? Game is lost forever? Or can we force an "unpause"?
01 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: we need to ask a moderator to unpause it
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: I sent an email to a moderator - we'll see what happens.
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hi everyone - - game has been unpause -- rock on :)
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: *unpaused
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hurrah. Cheers, Germany.
12 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: why did austria'a army get disbanded ?
12 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: (ionstead of retreat to vienna ?)
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Hey!
With Christmas coming is was wondering if you'd be ok with calling this one a draw if we arent done by Monday the 19th?
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Sounds good to me.. It's going to be pretty difficult for me to log on after Friday, actually, but I'll do my best.
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Stopping this Friday would be fine for me.
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1910: I'm out after Tuesday, 12/20, so I can go along w/ desires to draw, pause, etc.
15 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1910: I'd rather draw than pause if you guys dont mind, as I'm afraid a 2 week pause would kill the game.

Friday sounds good for a stopping date.
17 Dec 10 UTC Draw?
17 Dec 10 UTC good game- thanks everyone.
