14 Apr 22 UTC Gg France, Austria did a fantastic job making sure I can't focus north!
14 Apr 22 UTC Certainly clear that some players didn’t care if France solo’d
14 Apr 22 UTC I made sure Italy could focus west? But yes, I agree that I missed an opportunity in spring 1913, but I did not know you would turn around at that time. For all I knew, you would still fight against me, this is gunboat after all.

Besides, if I were to not attack Italy so he could focus on France in the west, and not focus on you so you could focus on France in the north, then what??
Fight Germany?

Everyone of my neighbors fought France, I could not avoid helping him in some way. And the fact that he still won with that many enemies is either because of his well played game or at the fault of those more directly involved against him I would say.

Anyways, I wouldn’t say you played badly Russia, no hard feelings.

GG to everyone
14 Apr 22 UTC I think France earned it
14 Apr 22 UTC Austria, I stopped attacking you in spring 1911, I only occasionally hit Bud to cancel support for your attacks on Rum.

Then, when you didn't catch on, I moved out Galicia willingly, and disbanded Black Sea. And you still felt insecure?

I had not posed a threat to you in about 6 turns, and actually never once had the opportunity to capture Budapest anyways.

I'm glad you think I plaued well, France and Italy did too, but if you had not bashed your head against Rum France wouo not have soloed.
14 Apr 22 UTC In case it's not obvious, I'm talking late game.
14 Apr 22 UTC Thanks all, it was a good game, coordinating a defense against a solo is always difficult in gunboat. I was lucky the East took a long time to resolve while the West resolved quite quickly.
14 Apr 22 UTC Well played France.
14 Apr 22 UTC Well done France. I gave it my best shot but I think you deserved it in the end. Thanks Austria for sticking by me for so long so that I could concentrate west when the need arose. GG. And boy was Turkey a hard nut to crack.
14 Apr 22 UTC Well done France! And Italy I really feel your pain mate. You got the stalemate going in the south but Austria and Russia could cooperate in the end to stop the fighting. Also sorry for being such a tough nut! I really did not think I’d last that long! Gg all
