15 Dec 21 UTC gg all.
15 Dec 21 UTC gg all. Close one at the end there

Couldn't just take the easy 3way draw, eh?
15 Dec 21 UTC I could have been forced to settle for a 3WD. Prodded the stalemate line a couple times to no avail. But ain’t no way I’m agreeing to a 4WD here.

Alternatively I was aiming to let Germany kill France and eventually Russia (I assume he’d get around to it eventually) for the 2WD, but I saw France offered me support to Marseilles so I took it.
15 Dec 21 UTC Oh yeah, hundred percent agreed on your part. I meant the 3 way draw comment for Germany

I was happy to ignore those northern skirmishes and hold my side of the stalemate line against you, but no way I'm just going to let him slowly squeeze me out without throwing the game
15 Dec 21 UTC The first Austrian player made some pretty big opening errors, letting me take Greece and then Serbia unopposed.

Kudos to Italy for being a tactically sharp player, and realizing the threat I posed, but he had no allies for support.

I allied with Russia briefly, but then after he destroyed Rumania, his south was too exposed not to stab.

After that, it was just a full-steam ahead tactical grind…
15 Dec 21 UTC Yeah, I was sad to see the juggernaut threat disappear but that looked too good to pass up
15 Dec 21 UTC Thanks for the compliment, but I made some mistakes, and then the expected French aid never arrived. My primary error was retreating when the English fleet got close to Tunis. I should have said to hell with Tunis, and kept pressuring Turkey. When I pulled back I gave away the initiative which was never recaptured. Austria caused me some early issues and outwitted me on a crucial move, delaying further the attack on Turkey.
15 Dec 21 UTC GG all though, especially the infidel Turk!
15 Dec 21 UTC Well played Turkey. I should’ve built a northern fleet in 1901 and -everything- would have been different haha
