02 Dec 21 UTC Good job Austria.
02 Dec 21 UTC gg all. Was an interesting game down south.
02 Dec 21 UTC Good job austria.
02 Dec 21 UTC Congrats Austria - well played and fun game - glad I joined in!
02 Dec 21 UTC I covered all my bases like a good Austria and only went for Serbia in Year 1. I tried to ally with Turkey first, and we got off to a good start or so I thought but then he inexplicably supported Italy to Greece. Italy meanwhile was continuing to try to force his way into Trieste, despite my careful watch over it. I made a sneak attack on Turkey in Rumania to restore the balance of power to my east and then implicitly allied with Russia by giving him Rumania and turning west to defeat the stubborn Italian. It was a rare situation in which attacking Italy was actually the best way for Austria to go. With some luck and with Italy distracted in France I got my sole fleet into Tyrrhenian Sea and put Italy into a checkmate position. Fortunately the Russia-Turkey war was a stalemate as I wrapped up Italy. I maintained my alliance with Russia as long as I could have but he began to recognize the danger and stabbed me, though not effectively. With Italy in my grasp and Russia and Turkey perpetually unable to get along I took them down one by one. I probably got brownie points with Germany by harassing France from the south.
02 Dec 21 UTC Assessment: Italy was a horrible tactician and strategist (glad I was able to put him out of the game first). Turkey was a good tactician but got greedy and was unable to form friends (his final choice of Italy as a partner went very poorly). Russia was a great player both tactically and diplomatically, who made a tremendous comeback, but in the end got outplayed by my sheer numbers thanks to my conquest of Italy.

Would love to hear y’all’s thoughts on this one! Good game.
02 Dec 21 UTC Overall a fun game! Germany toward the end I moved to English Channel on accident (meant to move to MAO to bounce Austria) but overall a fun game.
02 Dec 21 UTC good job
03 Dec 21 UTC Excuse me, you stabbed on the same turn I counter stabbed. EXACT same turn. And there was no effective way for me to fight you at that point (I desperately needed Germany to get involved, be it wasn't to be. No complaints Germany, I know you felt you might be best finishing your north. But, I couldn't hold Austria off my myself, and wasn't willing to keep him busy so you could swoop in and kill me later.))
Other than your acting like I stabbed you out of the blue, Asutria, great game.
03 Dec 21 UTC Spring 1908 is the turn I considered a stab… you didn’t actually attack my territory but were setting it up. But it’s neither here nor there. Good game. :)
03 Dec 21 UTC I try to get an allienance with russia and germany but failed.I couldn't hold Austria off my myself, and support his fleet into MAO to kill France ,germany and Russia.
03 Dec 21 UTC I am sorry England. I am not very good at Gunboat, so I didn't ever notice you'd backed off me, until it was too late.
In spring 1908 I was just making a bet that Turkey'd finally get out of my butt, and you were about to get in it.
03 Dec 21 UTC It's notthing to say sorry, since Norway was taken away, I've made you was my enemy, but I finally be stabbed by Germany,so I think Austria win this game is the best result for me.
