21 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I am sure she is, let me speak to her.
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'd hate to refer to crazy as the "pink elephant in the room... which can also hear you"... or maybe it's like parents fighting about a child right in front of the child....

Or maybe you guys don't realize you are on global chat?? ;)
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: I was / am fully aware that this is on global. It was directed at everyone.
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: She calculated that in order to be promoted she needs a 3-way with at least 6 centers
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Nice to be the center of attention ;)

News from the pink elephant----I decided to write to gjdip who is in charge of the tournament, to make sure I 100% understand the rules. He has now answered me and I am evaluating my options. Will reply to you each within 6 hours.
22 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: No, don't reply to anyone! It's going to ruin the global chat soap opera!
24 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Are we gonna need a pause for thanksgiving??
24 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1909: I don't, but will agree to pause if someone needs one
24 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1909: I don't need a pause.
24 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Noooooooooooo, don't pause! That's the worst thing that could happen and im not even in this game :)
28 Nov 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: The "right thing" to do is work together to stop France from a solo, but if the only way I can survive is to help France, then thats what I will have to do.
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: The best way for T and R to make sure they get a positive result from this game and to stop France would be to take Austria out and keep Germany fighting France...if you help France you will be defeated anyway, so a thin line there between what's likely to happen and a threat!
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Anyone care to comment on Zombie's analysis?
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Please talk to me in private
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: Taking out aus pretty much guarantees a french solo. Simple as that.
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: agree with fortknox
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: FYI I have a work meeting at 7 PM EST-will need to finalize here within 90 minutes of now
29 Nov 10 UTC Spring, 1910: By the time France has enough force to encroach on Austria and solo, T and R should be in a position to do something about it. F has enough to do with G in the north. My point is, making a threat to help France against your up til now allies will see you defeated either way, so maybe private diplomacy to keep you fighting to support R and T would have been more prudent.
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'm going to be gone Sat-Tues. Can I get a pause?
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: Yes-I will pause in 24 hours so we can get another turn in tomorrow
03 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1910: I took my pause off. If you all get your pauses in, I'll pause it just before I leave.
04 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1911: Thanks folks. Now stew on those moves for a few days, and go ahead and start infighting if you want. ;)
04 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1911: Nice try but no such luck. We're spending the weekend holding our UNITY banner. Be prepared to come back waving your DRAW flag.
08 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1911: I'm back folks, let's get it unpaused.
08 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1911: I think alamothe is asleep? At this time? He isn't from the US, right?
15 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1912: Break over the holidays???
I will be traveling from friday on and would like to have a pause.

I'll be back on the 30th, but I suppose if one of you wants to pause over New Year as well, we could restart on the 2nd?
15 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1912: We could just let the russian win... ;)

I will be traveling over the weekend, too. Back by sunday, but will leave on the 29th and return the 2nd. I should have internet access on all of those days, though. Travel days would mean minimal comm, but I'd put in orders.
15 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1912: I'm gone the 24th to the 31st. I may have internet access, but it will probably be minimal. I'm fine with pausing.
15 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1912: Wroooooooooooooom!!
17 Dec 10 UTC Spring, 1913: alright... I will be leaving today.
Please get the pause in after this turn!
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: Aren't we supposed to pause?
18 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: Yes, I just forgot to get mine in earlier. Sorry.
23 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: Thanks for the pause guys...
Happy holidays.
28 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: Ready to resume?
28 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: I'm traveling wednesday until late sunday...
28 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: I have only irregular access until Saturday, so I would like to stay paused until then.
28 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1913: So it sounds like we can unpause late Sunday when everyone is back
03 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1913: Folks, I just got in. I'm going to unpause first thing tomorrow.
03 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1913: of course, france needs to unpause as well ;)
03 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1913: Oops, forgot that. ;)
04 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1913: Uh the game got unpaused without my vote :-(
04 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1913: fare thee well
13 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1915: Wow what a bloodbath!
21 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1917: sorry guys... I missed a build and got into this late. I hate to bring real life into a game, but I'm going through a divorce right now (and I have 3 kids), so real life has torn away from my game lately. I don't mean this to affect any attitudes towards me in the game, just why I missed the turn and was missing most of this turn.
22 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1917: Dude, i thought i had it rough lately but that about equals it. I know your pain and heaven forbid you get the CSA anywhere near your family. That is of course if your in the UK! Good luck, deep breath and remember that no matter what the WebDip community is ready to take the piss and then patch you up again :) The sun is always shining somewhere.
23 Jan 11 UTC Autumn, 1917: Hmmm maybe Turkey will solo...
28 Jan 11 UTC Honestly I would like to split 17-17 with fortknow since both of us are without points in the group
29 Jan 11 UTC ...Let's draw
29 Jan 11 UTC I want to draw since a long time...
29 Jan 11 UTC That was one long game. Good game and good league folks.
