19 Jul 21 UTC Congrats France. Russia, thanks for working with me to try and stop France from soloing. And Austria stop attacking Italy when France is getting close to a solo. What the hell were you doing?
19 Jul 21 UTC We could have stopped France and forced a 6-way draw if everybody realized France was going to win once he took the western side of the map. Oh well.
19 Jul 21 UTC GG! I was really worried that I'd have to draw once everyone started working against me.
19 Jul 21 UTC I was internally screaming about the open Tyrolia! You did very well, and caught a nice break with Austria, Italy, and Turkey fighting over scraps while you rolled. I was jut trying to hold on for dear life :P
19 Jul 21 UTC I really didn't have much of a choice in the matter, haha. I was trying to get Turkey to roll over Austria, since there was no chance of us holding otherwise, but I don't think they caught on, unfortunately. The support holds on Tunis were also appreciated, but it wasn't under threat until France took both the Tyr and Western Med, so supporting me into Tyrh was probably the better play :P
20 Jul 21 UTC I tried really hard to keep Italy on my side as long as possible which I think entrenched all of the fighting over there.
